any experience with the Waldorf method?

anyone have their kids in a Waldorf or Waldorf-based school?  There is one here in Flagstaff, and I'm actually really interested in it for our soon to be kindergarten aged daughter.  They are one of the few that will accept children with a birthday after September (my daughter's is in october) and it seems very different/interesting.  Just wondered if anyone had personal experience with it.  I'm of course going to look up ranking, test scores and all of that :)
