CD3 testing ( I am an idiot)

In my defense it was really early!!! Yes I should have asked the nurse to be sure BUT, I didn't!! I was put into the room told to " take everything from the waist down off". Yes it should have clicked, IT didn't. The doctor & nurse came in and the second the nurse started to prep the wand it finally clicked. I was like ummmmm I need to run back in the restroom. YES I AM AN IDIOT!!! So once that was over and he started the test he talked me through what he was doing and what saw! He said there were some good size follicles on one side and a small cyst on the other.

They also did blood work and said they would call me by 3pm with the results. As I was in the waiting room of my husbands urologist they called. All my numbers came back great, all within the normal range for day 3 testing.

So now on June 16th we will have the consult and hopefully finally discuss the plan. I am sure it will be the longest week ever!!!

LOL! They should realize that even the thought of getting naked makes it hard for us to think.

At CD11 ultrasound, the lady who took me to the room said, "I'm just a tech, the nurse will be in later to tell you what to do" and left. So I think, "Oh her job is to bring me to the room, and the nurse will pop in any minute to tell me to undress."

Like 5 minutes later, I think, "That's stupid, I need to get undressed" but now I'm afraid the moment I get naked they'll come in before I can hop under the paper sheet! Well, that's just what happened...the "tech" popped in as I awkwardly gripped the sheet on my way across the room. Turns out she had meant the nurse would tell me about the next steps for IUI later.

Congrats on your great test results, and on getting through one more of those awful appointments!!!

Yay! Well that's good news. Should make it easier to laugh about the bathroom incident. Imagine how annoyed you'd be if the news wasn't so good! FX!

@iputketchuponketchup Aw, I think the tech was more mortified than I was...I think somehow I've turned the off button on shame every time I walk up the stairs to that office. Had an entire cell phone conversation with them about DH's semen analysis while we were waiting at the urologist for his bloodwork...good thing DH doesn't know the word "semen" in English!
