Hi Ladies
Just wondering what you think....I get told all the time by people to 'relax and it will happen'. I'm not sure I believe that fully though. I'm not that anxious of a person; however, I AM tired a lot due to having a soon-to-be 3 year old, full time job, etc.
How much do you think stress and/or tiredness actually has something to do with not being able to get pregnant? I have had some fertility tests done and so far everything has come back normal. We are still in the process of testing and will be meeting with the RE next week.

Clearly they've never had to deal with ANY IF problems not know anyone who did. People say the dumbest shit. Is that to say stress on the body plays no role? Of course not. There is a shitload of research out there proving how stress is only positive in a fight or flight situation and that long term stress is harmful to all 9183715273 cells of your godforsaken sterile womb. And sure, minimizing that stress can only help. But back in the medieval times bitches were getting KTFU all damn day while they starved, drank straight ethyl alcohol and had all sorts of diseases known to fuck up a pregnancy. So take it with a grain of salt.
my rant is simple. Throat punch and tell them to STFU it's none of their damn business. Asshats.

People with the "just relax" comments need a boot to the head. My other favorite that seems to follow the "relax" comment, is the "can't you just be happy with the child you have?"
This.
I am also an attorney in a very high stress work environment and the women I work with still get pregnant. Mommalawyer - did you see this shirt? https://teespring.com/keepcalmlawyerandamom
I also agree with everyone above - when someone tells you to 'just relax' they clearly have never dealt with IF. I do try to eliminate unnecessary stress where possible, especially during a treatment cycle. Not overextending myself to volunteer for something, avoiding stress inducing relatives if possible, etc.
