Working Moms

Do you have any advice for those who want to keep working after giving birth? Do you know the materinity laws in the state? I'm floundering. :(

    I went back to work 6 weeks after having my first baby. It was hard, but manageable. I put pics of my baby at my desk. I think the laws depend on whether you're full time or part time.

    I work in a law firm, but I am also working on my PhD. I will be graduating with my Masters in the fall, hopefully before I give birth. I am wondering if taking five grad seminars is wise during my second trimester so I have 9 months off before the PhD program. The firm I work at has not had somebody need to take maternity leave in about... forty years. So, I think we're just playing everything by ear at the moment. 

    I don't like being bored... so I guess, well, I never will be again. lol....
