Naomi came today at 37+5 via csection. 6 lbs 3 oz and 19".
Had appointment last week and my amniotic fluid levels concerned the dr. Went back today and they dropped from a concerning 8 to a 5. Doc simply said "that's it! Your done!" And sent me across the street to the hospital. I was a literal mess! I slept in so I hadn't ate or showered.. The eating part turned out to be a good thing. Called hubby and told him to meet me at the L&d and then my phone died. Within 2 hours I had baby girl in my arms. My spinal sent me spinning and feeling like I was having an overdose, thank goodness for the "feelgood juice"! Low blood pressure + dehydration. Doc made hubby stop recording when they pulled out my placenta. She said it looked old and ragged like a 41 week placenta. And it was full of old blood. Possible placenta abruption. I will research it later.
Baby is healthy and hairy and beautiful. Daddy is over the moon and big bro is warming up but already protective!
