Black gunk in Nutribullet

In an attempt to be healthier for my baby I've been juicing these past few months. Well this morning as I was cleaning my Nutribullet (and mind you, the instrux say to just rinse out the cup and the blades) I noticed some blueberry seeds stuck in the base so I removed the gasket and to my horror noticed some black gunk underneath. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Do you think I've been harming my baby all this time? :(

    Thanks! Luckily no upset tummy and definitely making it a point to clean more throughly. Spoke w/another friend that uses the Nutribullet and he didn't know either that it had to be cleaned under the gasket b/c the instrux state NOT to remove it but better safe than sorry. As far as juicing...I have 1 first thing in the AM to ease my hunger then have breakfast as soon as I get into the office, a snack, lunch, a snack and dinner. Not trying to starve myself...just another way to get in the daily dose of fruits and veggies! :)
