UPDATE:
We are at the pedi for a diff issue (spit up blood and some clots).
Just got her weighed and she is only 7.7. She was 7.4 on May 23

Waiting for the pedi to come in.
Olivia will be 4 weeks today. For the past week we have gotten a lot of "she's so small comments."
It's starting to get to me (I know, kind of silly). Last night someone asked how old she wasnand then followed up with an "oh my! Why is she still so tiny? She must not be taking any milk in."
Dd was born at 7.10 and dropped to 6.8. She did have slow weight gain at first but at her 9 days pp she was up to 7.4. She doesn't get weighed again until this comingTues.
So, I'm just curious - if you know, how much did your LO weight at 4 weeks?
(I KNOW all babies are different, that some weighed +/- at birth, that if the pedi isn't worried that it's ok....so on and so on.)

Not sure how true this is as a FTM and when our pedi told us it was the first time I had heard of it... But hope it helps FWIW.
FWIW, at a baby shower the day after he was weighed at over 13 pounds, a woman asked how old he was and then responded, "was he preemie or something? He's so small. " Some (most?) people have no idea what they are talking about, so don't listen to them.
Everyone can shut their mouths. People are so annoying.

DD gained 13 oz in her first 2 weeks (after losing 11 in the hospital), so I'm thinking she'll have gained about 1.5 lbs by her 1-mo check.

DD was 6 lbs 14 oz when she was born and today she weighed in at 8 lbs 8 oz.
As for this one, he was born almost 2 weeks past his due date and yet was only 7lbs 10 ozs (just like his older brother). At his 3 day appointment, he was only down by an ounce and by his 10 day appointment he was up a pound from his birth weight. I'm not sure how much he weighs now.
Comparing him to his 6 month old cousins make them look huge by comparison but they are average.
Don't worry what other people say about your kid. Keep doing what you will and in the end, it really doesn't matter their size this early in the game.
