Oil pulling

Hey all!! I used to do oil pulling every day but about a year ago I stopped (can't remember the reason why lol). Does anyone know if this is ok to still do while stimming TWW ?? Id like to start again now just because it really made me feel so much better. Any ideas ladies? You guys always seem to have the answers! Thanks!

Long of the Short:
 TTC since April 2013  DH 42 y/o I'm 30  Dh had vasectomy reversal Feb 2013 after 3 months developed scar tissue 
 First Re appt was September 2013 OOP for everything minus meds  
DH's TESE surgery December 2013
First cycle was February 2014 BFN none to freeze
 Second cycle was April 2014 BFP ending in Chemical Pregnancy none to freeze
 Third cycle June 2014 BFN none to freez
 Fourth cycle October 30th 28 retrieved, 13 mature and 12 fertilized
PICSI, assisted hatching and fresh sperm from my DH's TESE surgery used
5 FROZEN from a freeze all cycle! 
FET completed on DECEMBER 9TH!!!
Beta #1 13dp5dt BFP!! 800
Beta #2 15dp5dt 2100
Beta #3 17dp5dt 3600 
First Scan January 5th! Everything looks great! Heart rate of 121!
Second Scan January 20th. Baby Justone13 looks amazing. Heart rate of 175!
Baby Girl is due August 27th
Liv Annmarie born 8/25 7lbs 6oz 21 1/2 inches long

    @Hoping4LO‌ it's when you take a teaspoon of oil (I use coconut oil) every morning and swish it around your mouth and through your teeth. You do it about 20 minutes. I normally just do it through my shower. Then you spit it out (being careful not to swallow any) It whitens teeth, helps prevent and actually fix cavities, keeps gums healthy, gives you more energy and gets a ton of toxins out of your body. Pretty much it's all around awesome. I normally do detox baths too but have skipped those while I'm on a cycle. Figured I could do this to instead. I'm thinking it's safe but then again the craziest things aren't while cycling.

    Well, this was a new one to me! Doesn't sound like it could possibly have any negative effects. You could ask your RE, but I don't think most Western medical doctors would give you a response that you'd like. Perhaps ask an Ayurvedic specialist?

    @pblge‌ Okay you got me I had to google "Ayurvedic" lol. I'll double check with my nurse. She's a health nut so maybe she will know about it. I'm thinking it's fine. I've had bad allergies this past week and after just one day of oil pulling I'm already feeling better. Check it out!!

    When I googled oil pulling it came up as an "ancient Ayurvedic tradition," so I assumed you did it because of other Ayurvedic practices. :)

    @pblge‌ never even knew that!! I read a health book about it but never knew the history behind it. Maybe I will have to check into a specialist!! Thanks! :)

    How long did it take you to get used to oil pulling? Ive tried just a few times but my jaw is exhausted. Haha. Maybe Im using too much? Thanks!

    Me: 32  DH: 34

    TTC #1 since June 2011, RE December 2012

    HSG: tubes clear SA: Perfect AMH: 0.9 in Jan 2013 0.7 in March 2013

    Femara June 2013: No repsonse. Serophene July 2013: No repsonse

    Follistim August 2013: 12 follicles, 4 mature, IUI, and a BFN. 

    April 2014: Lost 30lbs, got my thyroid under control. Started IVF 

    May: BFP! EDD 1/6/2015 Heatbeat 167!

    Now: Canyon James born 12/30/14 at 6:21pm via emergency c section. 9 lbs 19 1/2 inches

    @sparkles2040‌ normally only a few days after starting. Make sure you are only using a teaspoon of oil. I think it's normal to have an exhausted jaw. Lol
