My husband left this up on the computer for me to read, and I don't know if it's the pregnancy hormones, but it brought a tears to my eyes. Our little one isn't here yet, but I am sure that it is easy to get lost in taking care of the baby and sometimes forget your relationship with your significant other. This brings up some good points and will act as a strong reminder for me at least.
They had me until the Jesus stuff (no offense to Christians, just that I'm Jewish so He is not the reason my relationship will survive parenthood...)
But overall it's a very sweet sentiment!
I agree. But the rest of it made me tear up, so I'm willing to gloss over that part
I just wanted to add: remember don't neglect yourself either. Ask for help. Demand it if you have to! You're not just a wife and mother you're a person and need "me time" as well. Have DH watch the baby so you can take a much needed shower. Grab a book and leave the house sans baby once in a while.
Women are freaking amazons. We take care of our husbands, children, house and pets... But who's taking care of us?? It's easy to put your needs last, but it's ok to put yourself first once in a while.

Aww this is super sweet, and definitely noteworthy. We're waiting on little one to be born but I can sometimes see that the focus has shifted toward making sure he has what he needs. Good reminder to keep hubby as a priority too.
Re: "To wives: before you were mommy"
Will have to remember that in the coming months and years!
