I have the Kindle paperwhite 3G. I love it! You can adjust the backlight and it's easy to read outside. It has the e-ink and doesn't cause eye strain. I get the free books on amazon all the time. :-)
Kindle Paperwhite hands down. They (Amazon) have the most ebooks available and the built-in light is great because it's not backlit. In fact, if you are using it just for reading, don't get one of the backlit tablet-like ones. They cause eyestrain if you read on them too much.
I have the kindle and the kindle fire hdx. I prefer the kindle for reading. I also love that it's attached to my amazon account (makes it easier for purchases and tracking). I also use the kindle app on my phone and I love that I can use any of the three during the day and it remembers where I am in the book.
My only con with e readers is that it's a lot harder to flip back to find and reread a section. I often do that for clarity and I haven't figured out the best way to do it yet.
Do you have the newest Kindle? They added this feature where you can flip back without losing your page. It's great!
Ditto - if it's just for reading get the paperwhite. I kind of want a tablet for other stuff but I know I'd end up in a wrestling match with Aiden over it all the time. The paperwhite is boring so it's all mine
Awesome. I asked for a Paperwhite. I have a ton of books on my list to read but I don't have time to get to the bookstore and don't want to read them on my phone. I'm so excited! Only 1 month and 4 days until my birthday (yes, I'm that girl)
