And we all need indulgences every once in a while! @mamainVA2013 - I know others who have had luck with low carb diets - I hope it's starting to work for you already! @No longer the best - It's your "goal" day!! Congratulations on your wonderful progress - the 8lbs you reported last week is worthy of congratulations alone! @Pitchslap - Hope the buns, guns, and abs challenge is still going well (I really love its name). @subliminalrabbit - Tossing food temptations sounds like a good idea! DH has me hide "my" treats from him so he doesn't get nibbly and eat them - so I can vouch for this method's effectiveness! @tiffletons518 - Well done getting back on the bandwagon! Last week- I was fighting this awful sinus thing, but I still managed to work out every day. They were just sort of pitiful workouts.
This week- I only weighed in Sunday morning as being down a half lb. But, some of you may remember that I polished off a 6pack Saturday night. And had pizza. So, I'm not sweating it. Continuing to workout every day and keep up the good diet.
Goal- 9 lbs by my anniversary in September.
QOTW- I HATE them. They always wake me up. Or if I haven't fallen asleep yet, they keep me up. Boo on storms.
What are your plans for this week? Healthy eating and a couple of spin classes. I took one tonight and I felt like death. I miss spinning!
What's your long-term/mid-term goal? Tone up!
GTKY: Thunderstorms - love them or hate them? I don't hate them, but they scare me now especially because DH is a big golfer. Whenever he's playing and I hear it, I wait by the window for him to come home!
This week I am back to counting calories and meal planning. I am going to try videos after B goes to sleep.
I want to hold myself accountable more and drop some weight.
Love thunderstorms unless they are directly overhead!
This week DH is in Orlando for a conference so I'm spending the week with my best friend and her daughter, so the eating isn't low carb an the most exercise I've done is walk around the outlets with her.
Short term goal include getting back on my diet and keeping up with exercise at least 5 days a week. Long term goal is to lose 15 lbs, as eat healthier than usual. I don't plan to do low carb as a lifestyle, but it has helped me lose weight before.
I love thunderstorms.
