We're just doing a onesie, I'm going to try to get DS to hold it, but he's under 2 so I don't have high hopes for the success of that. Snap a picture and text to family, then post on Facebook.
My mom asked me if we were going to do a big reveal like a cake or something, but I feel like it's overkill especially since this is #2.
I'm trying to think of a cute pic for Facebook and texts. Maybe something with my fur baby... I really like the idea of bringing cookies or cupcakes to work since they are all very supportive and excited. Nothing too fancy or expensive. I'm thinking more like a gesture of thanks for the support, so here's some yummy sugar. The big question is how will I tell the people who care the most such as my Mama and in-laws. Probably nothing exciting since they will be anxiously awaiting a call as soon as husband and I leave the ultrasound room.
Oh god do I have to think of a way to announce the sex too? I haven't even announced on Facebook yet! At this point I might as well wait until it's born to annouce I think
I'm going to send a text to the three people who give a crap (mom, sis, cousin) saying "it's a ________ and a ________." Then I'll probably say something smart ass on twitter about my babies' peen and/or vadge status (because that's how in roll). Probably something similar on Facebook.
I just don't see how what's between my babies' legs warrants a craft project. But to each his or her own.

We just had our elective u/s today! We invited the grandparents to come and when she zoomed in, I saw those 3 lines first, so she let me announce it to everyone, it was so special! I'm going to make cupcakes for my work friends to announce per their request lol!
I have semi-perm purple and blue hair colour at home, I plan to put either purple or blue streaks in my hair when I know what the sex is. 15 days till we find out!
We are having our parents and grandparents over and we ordered these little scratch offs from Etsy for each person to get. They will each do their little scratch offs but only one persons will have 3 boxes with the same color and they will be the ones to yell out the gender.
My mom LOVES Hershey bars, so I bought one on my way home from the a/s today. I took a pink sharpie and colored in the S-H-E. I'll give it to my mom when I pick them up from the airport tonight!

After our A/S on the 19th we are taking both our parents put to dinner. Before the dinner I'm going to buy an outfit or something that is the gender of the baby for both or mom's and but them in gift bags. So at dinner they will open them up and found out the gender. Then for our Facebook announcement since we did a star wars thing to announce we are having a baby I bought these books Darth Vader and Son and Vader ' s Princess and then we will take a picture of us reading the book that applies to baby. So it's different and kind of unique to us

I totally judge people who have "gender reveals" or make a big deal out of telling people the sex. Tell friends and family and mention it on Facebook but don't be all releasing balloons and having paint fights.
everyone is super obsessed with me having a girl since my husband already has two boys. When I find out the gender tomorrow I'll just send out text messages and buy a cake pink or blue to celebrate. I hope everyone celebrates with me even if its a boy; not liking the pressure to produce a girl.
I just don't see how what's between my babies' legs warrants a craft project.
Hahahaha! This. We found out last week and I wanted to do some cute picture with our dog, but hell, it's the end of the school year and I don't even have time to think about all the things coming at me with work, much less cute crafts and posed pictures.
We asked the tech, she said "girl!", we said show us a for-sure shot, and she did. As weird/creepy as it sounds, we liked being able to get a really good look from multiple angles rather than just a blurry ultrasound (probably because this only the third girl born in to my husband's family since his parents' generation). Then we called family and said "it's a girl!" It was just the way we wanted. No fanfare, no party.
And I can't stop saying it. Sex = between the legs. Gender = between the ears.
Baby girl N born 10/29/14!

No fb updates from me! If you haven't seen me in 9 months well I'll randomly have a baby lol I'm not doing the whole getting fat thing well! We might do a balloon or cake reveal idea with just family, we haven't decided yet!
Re: How will you reveal Gender to those in person!
Do the same when we announce gender.
My mom asked me if we were going to do a big reveal like a cake or something, but I feel like it's overkill especially since this is #2.
I may bring pink or blue cookies to work.
The cookie idea too
:-) yeah...
