If you could magically do away with one pregnancy " no no" drinking, smoking, certain meds etc. what would it be?
For me, I thought if would be my glass of wine. But damn, a turkey sandwich would make lunchtime sooooo much easier! And please no one mention goat cheese! I love love love stupid goat cheese. I wish the day before I Tested I gorged on a turkey sandwich, goat cheese, a bottle of wine and a side of Motrin

LOL
Re: If you had the power
And for me that vice is wine. Miss it!!
For me it's def wine. Miss my 1-2 glasses in the evening after I put my crazy monkey to sleep. Without it 'mommy time' is not the same. I am going to wait till the 3rd tri and start enjoying an occasional small glass again. Did that last time as did most of my friends. Alcohol later in pregnancy really is fine in a very limited amount.
As for what I would like? I am pretty boring, really! I have never been one for booze or caffeine. Even the sight of an unlit package of cigarettes has me running in the other direction. I do like cheese, but am happy with the hard, pasteurized ones.... Deli meat? I get the natural, nitrate-free ones once in a while and just heat them.... I don't feel the need for Advil now that my period is on vacation....
I do wish I could indulge a few more of my cravings now and then... (Fatty or sugary foods)... but I just know they don't make me feel good, and I don't want to gain a pile of weight.

I guess ultimately what I miss is just being able to eat like a normal person and not having food smells make me want to vomit.
Oh, reread question I'd LOVE to be able to take meds, ie cold medicine, migraine meds with no worry.

I also miss my sushi! I would love to be able to run into Subway and grab a Turkey BLT!! UGH I miss them!! I feel like a kid, as soon as I know I can't have something, I NEEEED it!
I know people indulge in some of the things others feel are a "no-no", I don't judge, I just know that for myself, if anything were to go wrong in this pregnancy, I would be consumed by guilt.
I could definitely go for a pint of Old Mick's Red!!
DRINKING!
DH and I are really into mixology and even have our own antique walk-up bar at home. (We even registered for certain bottles for our wedding, if that gives you an idea of how much we are into this.)
I really miss my after work cocktail. I know it won't be much longer now, but I REALLY want a Manhattan on days like today!
