Dream date night

What's your ideal night with your S/O? Mine is an overnight, because I'm a high maintenance broad lol. We would go somewhere new, maybe a beach town we've never been to. We'd get there around 3, check into a hotel that had an in room jetted tub or hot tub (we had one before and it was amaze balls). We'd go out to dinner, chat, go walking around the town and checking things out, then go back to the hotel for, erm....quality time. Hotel quality time is always more fun and spicy for us.

What about you ladies? What's your best date night plans?

Oh, girl. Mine would absolutely be overnight too. I was actually going to ask if I could turn this dream date night into a dream romantic getaway.

I will say DH has a knack for planning romantic date nights and I usually love what he plans. My dream date would probably be to go to the mountains and arrive early afternoon, like Dubs said. Check into a quaint B&B or cabin, and then hit a local winery. After a tasting, I'd like to return to the cabin and get all dolled up, while drinking cocktails. (There are few things I love more in this life than getting ready with a cocktail.) Then, we'd head to a nice dinner and then probably hit a bluegrass show.

Return to cabin inebriated and have hot tub sex. Repeat.

Um, does any date where I can drink booze and spend more than an hour alone with my husband count?

Really, is love to go out for dinner nicer than Applebee's, get a little tipsy, then spend the night in search of other pursuits all night long.

Or until we fall asleep from exhaustion. Because that will probably happen pretty early.

Wow! I love everyone's "plans" (because these things ARE going to happen...right? someday?)

Before I opened the thread, I was going to contribute that I would just like a chance to get all dolled up! Guess I should set my sights higher!

It has been ages since I truly have gotten "dressed up." I so miss it. The week MIL has DS I'll have to plan something and get myself a new outfit.

@TarheelMama202 I swear sometimes we are the same person. My favorite part of the "going out" is when my DH brings me a nice, cold G&T as I'm stepping out of the shower. Then I crank up the Edith Piaf and get fancy.

I think this thought at least once a day whenever I read something you post and I'm like, "Yep. Exactly." We have got to have a drink together.

The best date we had was a weekend thing. My parents took DS for friday and saturday night. DH and I rented a cabin deep in the woods. You had to have 4WD to get to this place cause it's all up hill. It was one of those luxury cabins with air conditioning, a hot tub and pool table so we were in no shape or form roughing it lol. We bought a bunch of food and alcohol and were hermits the whole weekend. It was wonderful. Lots of sexy time
