If you contribute to a class gift for your kids' teachers, do you also give a separate gift from your child? We all contributed picture books for the preschool classroom and money to buy plants, gift cards and some other little goodies for the teachers.
I am thinking something personal from DD would be nice, too, but I don't know what and I don't want to be the over-the-top parent since the idea of the class gift is to get the teachers something nicer from all of us. Also, trying to stay on budget and have already dropped a decent chunk contributing to the gifts and books.
