Posts disappearing?

I just noticed that the "100% BOY" thread is missing from the board, as is the "nevermind" thread from 2nd tri. Can users now completely delete posts?

(Clearly I have too much time on my hands today.)

I don't know. Weird. Maybe try to delete this post and see? I haven't heard of anyone being able to actually delete a post in earnest and not just the body of it for years.

Oh man...I see that now. I really really hope they don't change it back to letting posters DD. The whole QFP thing we had going was great!

Maybe AmberLynn was a BG/Mod testing the new rules to see if we would get nasty with her? And when we didn't bite like they wanted, it was all deleted?

I didn't know that we could appeal to the BGs to delete posts period! I can't believe those posts qualified for deletion.

Honestly, nothing happened in her intro post. She kept responding to every.single.reply and maybe got fed up with TB and went back to BG?

She still would have had to ask the BGs to delete her account. And she was active as of this morning.

Yep, this. I thought she was going to stick it out. I do think maybe she could be one of our shit starters and this time we were easier on her. Either that or she wanted to start fresh or run back to BG where she came from.

I'm still a bit of a newbie here myself - but her posts didn't seem too crazy. She did respond to everyone I noticed that and yeah, they do seem to be gone. Going to ask a question that i'm sure I'll get dinged for but looked and couldn't find what BG stands for? I figured TB is The Bump - and BG is another posting site- but since I don't go to a lot of message board sites, figured I'd just ask. Sorry if it's a silly question.

There was a WFD or weekly meal planning thread that went missing last week. Someone mentioned me in it after I posted about how it was Italian week at our house, but by the time I got the notice at home (after mobile bumping all day), the thread was gone. That seemed like a strange one to delete.

She requested to have her account deleted and it was - content and all. My guess would be that she cited privacy reasons given her that her account name was a real name (just a guess). So, I'd expect a newbie to show up soon.

Phew. If DDs disappear, I lose my reason for living.

I just hope she straightens out whether the inclusion of "testicles" always means "100% boy". The world must know!

I haven't read page 2 but I have deleted an account and all my posts remained and it takes a week for your account to disappear but posts stay.
