How is your Tuesday going? Are you feeling okay? Do you have anything to brag or complain about? Pretty good, I have a baby check up today. I got a call back about a job I applied for, better money and better hours. Still including no daycare for the DD and coming LO (saving LOTS of money). It's a the same hospital but different dept. I am fully qualified, however, my evergrowing bump will probably prevent me from getting hired. I'm calling back to see if they want to do an interview.
Do you have many friends that you've made online? Do you tend to go on to become friends with them in real life or just maintain virtual friendships? no online friends, I used to bump more while TTC but somehow it has all gone to the wayside. Other than that I just go on FB which are are real friends/acquaintances/co-workers/family.
How is your Tuesday going? Are you feeling okay? Do you have anything to brag or complain about? Feeling crappy and emotional today. Plus the weather sucks, which isn't helping.
Do you have many friends that you've made online? Do you tend to go on to become friends with them in real life or just maintain virtual friendships? No real online friends. I'm pretty introverted and stick with family and a small group of friends mostly.
How is your Tuesday going? Are you feeling okay? Do you have anything to brag or complain about? I feel good! Heartburn is really starting to ramp up and I'm having less and less things that I can wear out of the closet- which sucks! I'm excited for our anniversary this weekend
Do you have many friends that you've made online? Do you tend to go on to become friends with them in real life or just maintain virtual friendships? I actually found DH online. Back when Facebook was strictly college students and all you had was the college social network. Other than that I tend to be pretty private online as far as identity because I've had some nutty nutty people harass me online. There's some crazy ass people out there!
I feel stiff and sore and tired today. I think I overdid it yesterday starting to get things organized in the basement and office/nursery. Too many sets of stairs and trying to lift things that were probably too heavy. Still, it felt good to make progress, so I will probably do a bit more today, but try and take it a little easier.
I am still sort of close with a small group of ladies who were on my anniversary board on the knot/nest, but we've moved to facebook and I find it more difficult to keep up on there for some reason.
How is your Tuesday going? Are you feeling okay? Do you have anything to brag or complain about? Feeling ok today. Nothing too exciting going on. Just waiting for lunch time.
Do you have many friends that you've made online? Do you tend to go on to become friends with them in real life or just maintain virtual friendships? I don't think I have friends that I've met from online. Other than the bump, I usually only communicate with people I know in real life.
How is your Tuesday going? Are you feeling okay? Do you have anything to brag or complain about? Personally, not bad. But DH just found out that his BIL has been moved to hospice care due to terminal cancer so we are having to make contingent plans for one or both of us to travel across the US in the next few days to weeks. Given my numerous appointments for Schroeder, it will probably just be DH making the trip (per mutual agreement).
Do you have many friends that you've made online? Do you tend to go on to become friends with them in real life or just maintain virtual friendships? Not really. Most of my on line friends started out as in person friends and then moved on line due to location changes or job changes. Only exception is DH - we met on line and that one obviously moved into real life.
Married 10/06
Baby Girl "C" arrived on 10/07/14 (39 weeks, 6 days)
I slept well and almost long enough last night, so I felt pretty good this morning. I had a quick visit to a house that's almost done being renovated, and between the fumes and my sudden intense hunger, I've been a little woozy for the past hour or so. I'm sure it will pass now that I'm back in the office and have stuffed my face.
I have some friends I've made in FB groups (usually health and fitness groups), but I try to keep them confined to those groups. I find that we often don't share many other interests and more than once I've been deeply offended by some of the things (like political cartoons) that they post on their personal pages. No fun.

I woke up stressed today. I woke up at 5am or so on my back and then turned and felt an ache in my stomach and because I'm still not feeling the baby kick much, I'm tense. I called my doctor and the nurse said I shouldn't be worried, but that if I wanted to I could come in for a doppler. Work too busy to go in today but think if I don't feel any kicks later, going to go in tomorrow morning.
No real complaints today - just wish I had more time for exercise. I get a run or something cardio in each day but can't also find time for strength training and my thighs and arms are getting flabby as a result.
Do

friendships?
I don't have any real online friends. I'm not one for social meda that much and this is the most active I've ever been on a message board, etc.... I'm not adverse to making friends online, I just don't find time to do much with message boards, online communities, etc.... really I spend more time on here than I probably should in a work day, and sooner or later work may notice. )
So far, today sucks and I am super emotional. DH has yet to find work and that is really starting to stress me out. We've talked about cancelling our anniversary trip and our babymoon to take some pressure off of ourselves, which makes me extra sad because that's the only time off I get between now and baby. And I am super frustrated with my job, which all the sudden has turned into a panicked get-it-done-now kind of a job because the CEO threw a hissy fit yesterday, didn't listen to any of his leadersip team, and is insisting we roll out this product this year (when it really does need another year to be decent quality). I am just blown away by the fact that he walked out of a meeting yesterday because everyone disagreed with him. What are we, five years old??!
Anyway, I'm stressed. Baby boy seems to be fine. I've been having lightheaded feelings over the past two days and am trying to stay hydrated because it is crazy hot.
I actually have one friend I met online and dated for awhile. He is now working with the World Health Org in Nigeria. We still keep in touch on occasion through LinkedIn only. I also met DH online I did plus-size modeling with his cousin and he saw us commenting to each other about a runway show we did and asked about me. We emailed each other for two months before we finally went on a first date. And here we are hapily married 6.5 years later!
MRSclarke08 - So sorry you are having so much stress today. Sending good vibes and hoping you don't have to cancel your trip - I know how impt it is to get that one last trip in before baby...so fingers crossed you won't have to. And your CEO - wow he sounds like a piece of work. I do PR and have a few clients with CEOs like that. No fun. Hoping the day and the week improve rapidly.
How is your Tuesday going? Are you feeling okay? Do you have anything to brag or complain about?
It's ok, just moving way too slow. Is it Friday yet? I feel great, I'm currently enjoying my caffeinated beverage . Nothing to really complain about except wanting to go home and curl up on the couch.
Do you have many friends that you've made online? Do you tend to go on to become friends with them in real life or just maintain virtual friendships?
I made one friend online when he randomly messaged me on myspace after he had just moved to my town. We eventually met up once, but since then we've kept the communication limited to g-chat. I met DH online, so I suppose he counts too . I also play World of Warcraft, and a few years ago I got very friendly with some of the guild members. We met up once, but now we only keep in touch via facebook occasionally.

That would be illegal if their hiring decision is based on yoru pregnancy. They might trump up a reason, but they can't say because you're pregnant. If they do, call a lawyer!!
Ahh yes I know they can't not hire me because I'm pregnant, but there are also 1,000 other reasons not to hire "just because." Wishing this opportunity came about 3 months ago or 3 months from now!
