So I am looking for a new shampoo. Shampoo is one item I don't mind spending a good amount of money on. Got me thinking, what beauty item do you love and spend the most on?
I love my make up too, I love MAC eye shadow. My skin care products ( I am in my 30's) well my mom taught me to start moisturizing at a very early age (thanks mom) I have been loving Exuviance....no fine lines here...YET
I used to spend a lot more than I do now. I used to waste a lot of money trying to find a good face wash and moisturizer because my skin is really picky. I have recently fallen in love with washing my face with honey (sometimes adding in some granulated sugar to exfoliate) and moisturizing with almond oil. If I'm consistent with the honey it really helps with the acne (thanks, DS).

Honey? I'm so not crunchy that I've never heard of this. But it's free since I already have honey in my kitchen, so I'ma gonna google it now. Thanks!

Oh, I forgot to add I use witch hazel as an astringent. I want to get some tea tree oil to add to it so it's extra powerful.
I do this! I love mixing tea tree oil in my witch hazel. It really makes the best astringent. Then I use tea tree oil for problem spots.
So you've found that honey really works for you and acne? I was using just coconut oil to wash my face, then honey for acne, and the witch hazel/tea tree oil astringent. But after a week or so, my acne was worse, so I stopped. Should I have stuck with it?
Also, Frenchie-- am I remembering correctly that you were saying something the other day about all natural deodorant not working anymore? If so, have you tried Lush's deodorant?
What's funny is I used to buy really nice shampoos and products before I had my son. After I delivered, my hormones screwed up my hair and now if I use any nice stuff, my hair will look like it hasn't been washed in a month by lunchtime. Now I have to use the cheapest of cheap stuff. Shampoo, tiny bit of conditioner on my ends, and a little volume gel. That's all my hair can take.
I use Sukin Organic Protein shampoo, smells amazing and has really improved the texture of my hair. I usually swap out conditioners. Right now I am using Theorie grapefruit. I found them both at TJ Maxx. Def worth checking out
Hair and skin products I will shell out some dough for, but I feel like its ok because they are things you dont need to buy very often.
well im a consultant for Rodan and Fields dermatologists so that is the only face products I use, but I am obsessed, I was using them for a year before I jumped into the business. For hair I LOVE organix Teatree mint shampoo. Its the best! I also like bumble and bumble texturing spray for days i dont wash my hair to help make it beachy wavy.
@MonicaMerkel and @lipglossandblack - where do you buy you MAC makeup from? I've tried the MAC website but it prompts me to become a member which I don't want to do. Help me understand!!! Thanks loves :-*

@TarheelMama202 - Honey does help with my acne and overall complexion (like that healthy glow) if I'm consistent, but coconut oil makes me breakout more. I use almond oil instead.
I haven't tried Lush deodorant yet. Guess I'll add that to my list!

I didn't put 2 and 2 together and realize that Tarheel's Lush is one of my fave stores ever! So many good smelly things there. I used this big hunk of honey soap all during pregnancy. So yummy.
And now super smart me just realized that I knew about honey cleaners because - duh - it was an ingredient in my favorite Lush soap.
THAT HUNK O HONEY SOAP IS MY FAVORITE THING EVER! Also, that chocolate brownie mask thing that they make.
