I currently work 40 hours, 8am-5pm with a 30-40 minute commute plus dropping off/picking up LO. So right now I get up around 5:30-5:45, leave the house at 6:50 to drop her at my dad's by 7:10 and then I go to work. By the time I get off work, get her and get home it's going on 6:30 and then I still have to make dinner and do some house work.
For my last trimester I had to leave work at 2 twice a week for NSTs, so my boss let me come in an hour early plus work through lunch one day a week to make up the time. He's pretty good about adjusting your schedule, so I'm thinking about asking if I can do the same now so I can get home a little earlier somedays and just have more time with LO....or at least it will feel like more time.
Problem is, I would of course have to do everything an hour earlier. Going in earlier when I was pregnant wasn't such a big deal since it was just myself I had to get ready, but with needing to feed her, get her ready and drop her off, that would mean getting up at 4:30 ish and dropping her off a little after 6am. I am not a morning person, so I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it. I asked my dad since that would mean he has to get up earlier as well, and he suggested I try it and see what I think. I just can't decide if I even want to bother. I'm also wondering if that would mess with her schedule too much, to head out earlier two days a week and later the other three days. WWYD?

In other words, you should do it. You will have to go to bed earlier, but she's sleeping anyway.
He was sleeping from 10-4, nurse then go back to sleep on days I worked from home.
Most day when I had to go to the office I had to be on the road by 5 to drop him at MIL's by 5:30 to get to the office by 7am. I got up to shower before he woke, then feed him and hit the road.
Some weeks I would have to meet the client at 6am. That meant I'd leave home with him at 4am.
MIL got tired of me dropping him off at 4:30 so she started staying over the night before those meetings. That way he could sleep in his crib, be rocked back to sleep and she could rest better.
Give it a shot if your work is flexible.

LO is asleep by 9 or 9:30 most nights but she gets a last bottle around 11:30 so she'll sleep till I get up at 5:30. So since I can't go to bed any earlier...unless I wanted to go to bed and get back up for her last bottle, which I don't, then getting up at 4:30 am doesn't sound too plausible I guess.

I baby wear A LOT. I also time her feedings so I can get the majority of what I need done for the day in the morning. For example, if I feed her at 7ish, she sleeps until 11:30-12. I get the most important stuff done during her morning nap. I take a lunch and feed/nurse her and then she plays on her mat for about an hour. When she starts to fuss, I put her in the sling and she usually will fall asleep until 4:30. I nurse her again and then she plays until we leave around 5:30.
Some days she's in the sling the entire day. Today she slept on top of my desk while I drafted a brief. Lol.
If you don't have an activity mat, I highly recommend getting one. I didn't think Harper would like it because she doesn't like being laid down and it's by far my best investment. We have the FP kick and play and she will lay on it for hours and sometimes even fall asleep mid-play.
