Sex: Post CS vs Vaginal Delivery

My first was a vaginal delivery and I felt so gross I didn't even want sex whgen the dr okayed it. We waited at least 8 weeks and it still hurt.
Just had a csection and feel so much better this time around, I already am ready but know I need to wait until my 6 week appointment.
Does sex after a csection recovery hurt just as much? or no since that whole area isn't destroyed by the baby coming out?
Sounds dumb but thanks!

    Had one of each as well. For me both had the major issue of dryness courtesy of bfing.The post vag experience had the added fun of new scar tissue from an internal tear. Neither was pleasant, but I guess the c/s one was the better of the two.

    My first c section i only waited 2 weeks. It didnt hurt at all! Just didnt have him put any pressure near my incision. I wasnt told to wait. This time i wasnt restricted either and its been 2.5 weeks pp but im ready, just tired and fall asleep first! Lol

    We waited 5 weeks after my first c-section and had no issues. Everything was normal.

    At my two week incision check, my OB okayed me for sex. We haven't done it yet though (Wednesday will be four weeks PP) but I think we will soon.

    With my first we waited 3 weeks pp,with no problems.this time we waited 4 weeks pp.ob said as long as bleeding has stopped good to go.i do agree each time was a little dry,but thats fixable.i forgot to mention two c sections here.

    This is my first c section and the doc okayed sex at my 2 week appt, she just said to make sure I wear a condom for the first 4wks until the birth control kicks in. However I'm too tired to actually have sex, and I just don't feel sexy for it yet.
