Clomid and Uterine Lining

Anyone have any idea of how to increase the thickness of the uterine lining on a Clomid cycle? I'm at 0.4 right now, muching away on pumpkin seeds and POM juice, and I took a vitamin E supplement. Has anyone heard of any other foods or supplements that may be helpful?

 

Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

    @bluejoan that's really interesting- I was told by an RE in my practice today that there was "nothing they could do" about a thin lining.

    Hm... thanks for the feedback, everyone... Has anyone ever proceeded with a cycle with a lining of less than 0.6?

    @amylev80, I have already finished the Clomid, so maybe that's what she meant. I will add I didn't see "my" doctor today- when you go in for monitoring, you see one of three docs in the practice. Today was my least favorite one.

    @emmuffy, they had me trigger anyway (I made a post about this actually). My lining was 4.6 (I guess .46 really...she said it was "almost 5"). Obviously no idea if it will result in success...

    I drank red raspberry leaf tea (2x per day) CD 1-13...and took vitamin E and B Complex daily in addition to my prenatals. My lining without doing that at my first CD12 appt was 6.4mm...at my next CD11 appointment my lining was 7.4mm....so all that made a 1mm difference. I don't think there is much you can do now...but if there is a next cycle...which hopefully there isn't...you could try that regimen!

    January 2014- ob/gyn ordered Clomid (50 mg) unmonitored, EOD-BFN
    February-Clomid 50 mg. unmontiored, EOD - BFN
    March-Switched to RE
    April- 100 mg Clomid/Ovidrel-BFN
    May - 100 mg Clomid/Ovidrel-BFN
    June-*BREAK/Switch RE*
    July- 5 mg Femara/Ovidrel + IUI #1- BFN
    August- 5 mg Femara/Ovidrel + IUI #2 - BFP!!!!

    EDD: May 7th, 2015: Team PINK

    Had an appointment with the RE this cycle. We might go ahead with this one despite the poor lining, but if we do another cycle before IVF this fall, it'll be with injects. My estrogen was over 3000 so she said more estrogen would not likely help my lining.

    Update - triggered today, lining had improved to 0.5 :)

    That's great news @emmuffy! I'm guessing it improved on its own? Ha, maybe mine did too...

    I'm the 24th but I'll cave and do a HPT before then. My hopes aren't too high for this cycle, but who knows, maybe we'll be birth month buddies... :)
