I have my video of telling my husband! We found out on our 2-month wedding anniversary so I got him a card that said something about being a dad. He thought nothing of it because I get cards for everything! We won't be able to show LO until he's 18 because of all the swearing

I don't have a video of me telling my mom, unfortunately, because we live thousands of miles apart, but when I told her on the phone this is roughly what happened:

Me: *in a serious tone* Hi, Mom. Do you have a minute? I've got some... news.

Mom: What? Yeah, I've got time. News? Oh my God, what happened?

Me: Well... you might want to sit down.

Mom: Oh my God. Are you okay?

Me: ... you're finally going to be a Nana!!!

Mom: ... are you shitting me?!?!?!

Me: *laughing* No, not shitting you, you're gonna be a Nana.

Mom: *bursts into tears*

I guess pretending like you're going to take a picture is a good way to get everyone together so you can tell them at the same time. I, however, never thought of that...

I went to my mom's to tell her and her husband and my little brother and sister. They were never in the same room at the same time for like the first half hour I was there. It was driving me nuts! So I just had to blurt it out the second they were all there at the same time before one of them left. lol

When I told my parents, I put a hot dog bun in the oven and told them to look at the dessert I made. My dad kept trying to guess what kind of bread it was like it was a game or something. Haha
