I have been reading the no cry sleep solution and taking data so we can try to get back to our crib and stop having so many wake ups. Has anyone had any luck with this book?
We are leaving Tuesday so I'm trying to he rid if what we have left to get rid of, pack what we're taking with us, going through everyone's clothes etc. STRESSED.
The last two days when I get DD out of her room from her nap she's been up on all fours! She hasn't gotten all the way up when she's playing though. I'm nervous. Lol
We've been living the hotel life whole in Oklahoma. DH was supposed to be off today but ended up working soooo it's another day of lounging around... And swimming!
I'm heading up to my sisters today for supper, well I was supposed to be there by now to lounge by the pool but A's crankier than ever today and getting her to nap was comparable to wrestling a wildebeest.
My sister also wants me to leave her there for the night but I really don't feel like driving all the way back out of town to pick her up.. Ahh who am I kidding, I just don't want to leave my baby over night for the first time! She is EBF and doesn't take bottles so the thought makes me nervous. I have tickets to go see SO's uncles band play at a bar that's near my place tonight but I guess I'm just going to stay home and he'll go with someone else.. Like usual. It's a lose lose situation for me and I hate it.
We went swimming and had lunch with friends today. Tonight we have some family coming over for Chinese food which should be fun. Tomorrow my friend and I are going to attempt a Pinterest project! It's the board decorated like a big ruler that you hang on the wall as a growth chart. I'm excited!
I'm ready to kill DH. His idea of helping pack and going through every item we own is not helping at all. I have to ask him for help with DD while I'm running around crazy organizing and packing. He figures we have two other days. But dammit I want to relax those days!
Getting ready for my and my bff's joint bachelorette party! We've been really lazy and toying with the idea of staying in and drinking in pajamas instead of going out, lol. We're going to go out but staying in sounds nice... we're getting older
maybe do a trial at your sis's and just go get some coffee (or a glass of wine) you deserve it
Thanks! I actually ended up convincing my sister to follow me into town after supper to watch DD! It felt great to get out with SO for a drink (very first beer since before being PG) and enjoy the band.
The only catch was, we made a deal that I would have to watch my niece over night after my sister left. The little bugger woke up at 5am!!! (DD sleeps until 10:30 usually) Safe to say I am exhausted and could not imagine having a toddler and an infant. You mamas who do that on a daily basis are so strong!!
