2u2 Up and coming holidays

So DH and I have been talking about Christmas gifts for the kids so we can start early and (maybe) not be so stinking broke! Y'all know we'll have 2u2. I need no more baby toys! Baby girl will be easy because she really won't give a crap at 4ish months old. But what about E? I really am drawing a blank. We are thinking about doing one of those old fashioned pedal cars for him at Easter (because his birthday is also in the winter and our house is too small to use it). C's portable DVD player just broke, so we were thinking about doing an inexpensive tablet for her. Again, the kids are little, so we aren't that concerned yet with cost equivalence.

And when did you moms with other children start "giving" gifts between siblings? I'm so blank! I've got great ideas for in a couple years... A wooden "tool table" for E (lots of small choking parts), American Girl got Baby #3... :)

Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Snack ideas because I need a distraction... ;) Throw them at me!

    We haven't done gifts between the kids yet, simply because I never really have a chance to take them all out individually to get everyone covered.  But the plan is to do that this year.  The kids may only get one gift from each person, including DH and I, and stockings, and that's it.  We'll probably limit the kids to $10 per sibling or something like that.

So all year long they set aside a small amount each month/paycheck/however and then when it came closer to the holidays they had plenty of spending money for gifts. It apparently worked great for them, making them feel rich and not having to worry about how to do all that they wanted to - since they bragged about it on Facebook ;)

    This was our initial plan. But... plumbing, cars, new baby, and the wedding reception have all put a damper on that budget, lol! I've actually got good ideas for my in-laws, but nothing for my family. And my poor sister still hasn't gotten her Christmas present from last year! At this point I'm thinking I'll do something else for her. Maybe a roll up brush holder for her paint brushes?
