Maternity pants: Where have you been all my life?

Why don't we wear these all the time? Why do we have pants with buttons and fly's? We don't have penises! ELASTIC PANTS 4 LIFE.

I completely agree, I am definitely a comfort first type of person. I haven't broken out the maternity pants this time around yet but have embraced the yoga pants and maxi skirts.

I have to say though... there is something to be said after you have your baby and are able to fit into "regular" pants again, it's like a triumph of epic proportions.

I literally logged on today to write this exact post! I bought some (reluctantly) yesterday. I'm terrified to jinx things. But, I could barely fit into my pants the week I found out I was KU. Sooo.. today, I'm comfy.

I can't wait for maternity pants. I haven't been able to find a pair worthy of the $$ though. I want a pair of black really skinny cigarette maternity pants, and have had no luck in finding any that fit that are under $200. I've been rigging my normal pants for now, but know that won't work forever.

Where are you guys finding them? Any suggestions?

Believe it or not, I got some skinny black maternity crop pants yesterday at Kohls for $20. Their maternity section was tiny, but I got a lot of cute stuff. Good luck!

Just bought this pair from Target yesterday. There weren't many options there, but these are pretty great. I also got the full-length ones, but they're too short for me... kinda awkward.

Now that I'm 13w and feeling human again, I made it to a store for something other than cravings to buy myself (2) pairs of jeans and (2) pairs of shorts... I have been watching my best friend fiddle with buttons and zippers and just tell him over and over how he needs to get a pair! I can't believe how comfortable I am AND I don't have to worry that I forgot to zip! It's the best!! :x

(things bought at Motherhood, they had a sales rack of (3) for $20 which consisted of mostly "skinny jean like" pairs. I got flares and love them.)

I've found most of my old maternity clothes in various donate bags left in the garage (thank god we didn't *actually* take them to GoodWill), but I'm still missing a couple of nursing bras and some pants. I did find all my "I lost 30 pounds and now all these clothes are too big for me but the shorts and jeans kinda fit again now that I'm pg" clothes, so I have some make-do options for awhile.

I've looked at Target, and I think I tried on the linked pair, but they were too big. I'm in a weird in between phase. I tried and outlet H&M with no luck, maybe their real store is better. I am also going to try Motherhood! Thanks!!

FYI if you buy H&M online their return policy is fantastic. It's free shipping on returns and the label is included in the package already. I rarely have luck in store but have bought a lot of cute stuff from them online.

I've had amazing luck at value village and goodwill. I found a cute pair of army green cargo pants from motherhood maternity, H&M jeans, gap shorts and 2 skirts that are not maternity but have elastic waste. I'm only 12 weeks, I know I will grow but I just couldn't take feeling like a fatty in my regular clothes. And I only spent $24!

It's about time I invested in some. Motherhood Maternity has a sale right now for their redline (buy one, get one free). Online has some of their jeans for $20-30. I may just have to go get some.

I found my H & M maternity pants at a thrift store. I couldn't believe all the barely used pants for 3 or 4 dollars. I would check your local thrift store or goodwill. You'd be surprised what you can find.

See, the jury is still out over here on my 1st pair of maternity pants. I wore them yesterday for the 1st time. I spent all day indecisive about the tummy panel. Either pulled up and bothersome to my itchy, fire-ants-under-my-skin belly or rolled down which equals 40 yards of extra fabric right where my undies elastic is already too tight! I'm really hoping the fire ants go away soon and I can where that panel proudly!

FTM, 11 weeks with twins!
