What does it all mean.. So confused!

My husband and I have been ttc for about one year. His labs were fine and mine were all within normal range except a 21 day progesterone level of 4.6. Day 3 estradiol and fsh both within normal range. I've been using opks monthly and always get a positive. I talked to my obgyn and was given a prescription for novarel to use on day of ovulation. I'm wondering even if it is successful will my progesterone level increase to support implantation? I'm planning on calling ob to discuss further but just wondering if anyone had any insight.

I can't offer any specific advice regarding this, but I would suggest that you move from an OB to a RE. That way you will get the proper monitoring and such.Me: 30 DW (aka C): 29

We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm. 8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy. We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET. I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013.
11/14/14 - Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good.
12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2
12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)
1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

First I'm sorry you have to be here but welcome to the board!
I also suggest moving to an RE at this point. Testing progesterone on day 21 may or may not give you accurate information. You really should be getting this test at 7DPO (days past ovulation), and if you don't ovulate exactly on day 14, which many women don't, then the 4.6 number means nothing. I normally don't even ovulate until day 23-26 which I confirmed for a year with charting BBT and using OPK's, so if a doctor did a progesterone test at day 21 the info would be completely inaccurate. This is just one of many reasons you should work with an RE for infertility rather than an OB. I encourage you to stick around, do an intro and lurk. The women on this board are amazing and very knowledgeable. I have learned so much and was so much more prepared to start my journey with the RE by being here. Good luck!

Welcome.
I'm with @aves0708. I'd strongly recommend moving onto a RE. Your progesterone numbers were probably improperly tested (from what it sounds like) so I wouldn't be treating that without testing on the proper day.
Also, while different people approach things differently, after a year of trying on my own, I'd be ready for more than a trigger shot. There are a lot of other options for treatment out there that are more likely to be successful if you truly have unexplained infertility.
