As seen on TV favorites?

Anyone have any "As Seen on TV" products you love and that actually work or are useful? I was just thinking about it last night. I love my Tortilla Bowl maker, my H's Slanket, Silpat mat, and the Ove Glove. I actually use them! I regret all of the other purchases that I've made myself or received! Waste of space.

We have a snuggie, and the shamwow cloths. The snuggie is okay; the shamwows were terrible!!!

I'm trying to think of what we have. The only one I can think of is one of those little cheese grater things (graty?) that someone bought us as a gift. It is absolutely terrible. Cheap, flimsy, and doesn't work at all.

Oh, does the Nutribullet count? FIL bought us one for Christmas or something one year, and that I actually love. It works great, the cup sizes are nice, and it came with a really helpful book with recipes and stuff in it.

  • I have the Snuggie which is at work. Our HVAC system sucks and I'm always freezing in the winter so it comes in handy. My coworkers laugh at me but they're the ones complaining about how cold they are while I'm toasty warm!

  • @thelittlepear - my great aunt is a QVC queen....we have gotten sucky pillows, that perfect pasta thing that you add hot water to that doesn't fully cook, shamwow, a duster thing,....to name a few.....

We also have snuggies, they are okay but I wish they were more thick/plush. The shamwow cloths are awful, I agree with you on that. My dad calls them shamshit lol.

We have the magic bullet and love it!!i use mine daily for smoothies and now baby food.

  • DH ordered a Shark steam mop. It works great he just doesn't use it enough to justify what he paid for it. I can't think of anything else we've ordered. While I was pregnant with DD we were up late one night and a commercial came on for pillows that had led lights in them and changed colors. DH swore DD was going to need one. I think it took a good 20 minutes to talk him out of it.

Brittany - check out the slanket. It's a thick, fluffy blanket-like snuggie. It's great!

  • Shark steam mop, which works fantastically until hard water clogs the steam holes and the pressure cracks the reservoir. Note to self, clean the cleaning appliances from time to time.

  • @blue_elle‌ I'm supposed to clean it? Guess I should look at it.
  • Does anyone have the towel wrap for wet hair? I actually just saw it at Fred Meyer today and was thinking about asking for it for my bday.

Great! Since. I went back to work in March, I have had my hair in a pony tail all but one day. One day in over 2 months. I need all the help I can get!

I got the Shark steam cleaner. That thing is a.ma.zing! Cleans anything and everything. I love using it to clean my stove. I think I paid $60 for it and it was def worth the money.

That's it?! DH paid between $180 and $200. I don't remember. I used to hate leaving him home alone when I went to work. Never knew what he was going to order next.

  • @valigrl21, you mean a product like this, right? That's what I use.

  • Oooo ok. Ya we have the mop.
  • @sugarland726 - yes exactly!

  • My mom picked up this salsa maker for me a while back & I absolutely love it for chopping veggies for cooking. I haven't used all the parts to it, but it cuts chopping time in at least half when I make DH's favorite pasta salad with chopped onion & celery.

I also have a Shark mop (the original one) which works well. I only paid $10 when I bought it from a friend. That was all she paid for it because she bought it refurbished from Big Lots. I don't use it much, but it makes a quick easy clean when I do. $10 doesn't make me regret anything either.
