We're starting our awesome! **read sarcasm**
First thing both little sister and boyfriend said, "Omg you're huge! You must be so miserable!"
Thanks for pointing that out. Sometimes I hate family obligations.

Here's to hoping the rest of the day goes well.
**Update**
We just got home. Thank. GOD. I am exhausted and wondering what on earth possessed me to want to spend all day walking at 31 weeks. My feet/legs/body are killing me!
Managed to enjoy the trip most of the time. There were only two other annoyances. First, DD1 ignored me when I told her to pack a sweat shirt. I'm tired of this game, and didn't think she would need it, so I let it slide. Well, the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago is right by lake Michigan, and it's not called the windy city for nothing! It was gorgeous today, high of 70, but windy. C was cold when we got there, so I let her use mine. What's the first thing she did? Throw it on the floor of the nasty public bathroom. So I took it back. It wasn't that cold anyway.
The rest of the day, younger sister in law continued to ask if she could give C her sweatshirt. *sigh* The first time I explained, no, C chose not to get one when I told her to, then threw mine on a dirty floor. Now she can just deal. (NOTE: IF it had gotten cold, I would have given mine back to C, I wasn't punishing her that severely, just trying to teach the lesson of consequences. Like I said, it was 70 and gorgeous.). I had to explain this no less than 7 times! All of which happened in front of C, with every question spoken to make me into this evil horrible parent for depriving my child! The worst part was, C WASN'T EVEN ASKING!!!!! Sister just **thought** C looked cold. I wanted to scream at her, it was 70!!!
Then the other thing was really a little thing but has me super pissed off. I didn't get a SINGLE picture of my kids at the zoo actually looking at me because every time I tried, sister and boyfriend distracted them and made them look away. I know they were trying to get cute pics too—that's what I was trying — and I know boyfriend was just trying to get E to smile for the camera... but for heaven's sake, stand behind the parent, not ten feet to the side and be distracting. I have a hundred pictures of E's hat at his first visit to the zoo and not one of his face.
So to summarize, this was a bummer weekend for capturing memories. Mom took the farthest seat in at the dance recital so I only got pics of stage props and couldn't even see my daughter dance half the time... in-laws interrupted every photo op at the zoo. Two big events that I was right there to witness and I feel like I was cheated out of both.
