I won't go into how much I adore Glennon Doyle Melton, because I already have. I shared this on my facebook the other day. It was her status. I had all the tears for a minute, because she just nails it some times.

Dear Chase's Future Wife,

I taught him to put his own sheets on the bed today.He washes the counters and his own laundry and he's expected to feel blessed to have counters and laundry to wash.Yesterday he told me that his best idea was to "marry the kindest, bravest girl I can find. "Yep," I said, "and then everyday you wake up and ask yourself: what can I do to make her world better today?"

I'm working hard for you, sister. And every time I look at my boy's face, I think a prayer for you. I love you so much already.

Gah, YES. I think of adding to our family, and I used to think I always wanted at least one boy and girl; one of each. Just so I could experience parenting both sexes. But man do I love my little boy. I think I could have a couple more little guys and my heart would be so full. Stuff like this makes me think that.

No offense to mamas-of-girls! Would totes be cool with one of those too.

I love this so much. If only my MIL had felt this way. Definitely one of my goals is to raise a man who can cook and clean.
