Hmmm... This I did not realise or even hear that theme in the lyrics. I thought it sounded more like a song about a guy looking forward to being a father. No matter- I still think it's a beautiful song.

I feel bad as I truly didn't realise it's about miscarriage, but I can see how I missed it as it's only the last two lines that acknowledge it. The rest is about pregnancy. Will look up those other songs for sure!
