He is 9 weeks. When I pump I usually get 4-5 ounces and this is about an hour after feeding. I do that regularly after the morning feed. We have started giving a bottle around supper time. So when that happens it is about 4 hrs in between breast feeding sessions instead if two hours. But I don't feel full or engorged. Most times if I'm home I have no problem pumping during a bottle feed since DH does the feed. It's more so if I were to give a bottle during the day to help LO get used to it, and then have to pump after as well, or say I went to lunch and gave a bottle there, that would put me at about the same. I will be going back to work in 3 weeks so I'm sure it will be more regular then, but I don't want to hurt my supply in the meantime.
DS is 8 weeks (tomorrow) and a couple times he has had a bottle and I didn't pump. But it was because I was out and couldn't... I wouldn't think missing one pumping session would do anything - it'd be like LO sleeping longer, right?!
But... I'm by no means an expert!

Well I guess I learned my answer. By the time LO ate it was 5 1/2 hrs and my boobs were so engorged and painful!!! I pumped immediately after feeding cuz they still hurt and got 3.5 oz off one boob, (none on the other). They still felt full after that but couldn't get anymore out.
In glad you asked this as sometimes when DH is home and she gets a bottle I want to take a break and not pump! I also want to catch up on supply in the freezer so it's a double edges sword. We started with bottles at night (2) so I pump before bed then after morning feeding. I still seem to have a good supply but could probably pump more in between BF sessions.
I don't pump every time he takes a bottle. I do a morning pump after his first feeding and get maybe 6-7 ounces. And I pump twice at work and get maybe 3 ounces each. He typically eats 10-12 ounces in the time I'm gone. So I pump 3 times to cover 4-5 feedings. When I'm home we bf.
A few times we have given DD a bottle while we are out and I either don't pump at all, or I will feed her on one side and pump the other once we get home so it may be a few hours later. If I can pump when or right after she takes a bottle then I do but it's not always feasible. So far it seems to be working out ok and has not messed up my supply. But I had a bit of an oversupply to begin with.
