Happy Sunday ladies! Here is a funny list for those of you who are struggling more of late

While I may have more complaints these days, I'm one of those pregnant woman who does not wish the end to come any faster.Even though I can't wait to meet my new LO, I like the "special-ness" of being pregnant and am sad that it's almost over.

I do really feel like this though...

36 weeks! TB says honeydew, but I'm not sure the honeydew I found at the store was 5+ pounds...

Bending over is getting more and more difficult. I should probably be asking DH for more help with cleaning the house, but it irritates me that he doesn't just offer (I know that is silly) and I don't like waiting for things to get done so I just do it.

Because of the GD, I have two appointments every week. I see the MFM on Mondays and my reg office on Thursdays. I had to do this last time too. It's a lot of money in parking!

The nursery/guest room is almost done. Just finishing up some wall decor these days. DH still needs to get some things out of the attic, which I would like him to do today. I have a couple more projects I'd like to get sewn too (some of which are baby gifts for other people). The double stroller isn't put together yet either, but I haven't decided if that needs to happen before she arrives or not.

How many weeks/what fruit, veggie, thing are you?- 34 Weeks! OMG! Butternut Squash!!! Feels like a Heffalump!

Any vents or celebrations from the past week?- We got our new dog at the Humane Society on Friday! He's so sweet and lovey. I also got my two baby kittens (4 & 8 years old) flown in from WA. They are not so happy to be here, but they've taken up permanent residency on top of the fridge. I'm sure they'll come down soon.

How many/how frequently are your appointments these days?- Haha. Well. Haven't seen my doctor for 2 weeks, but I switched doctors and am going in to meet the new one on Wednesday. I'm actually really excited because the old doctor told me that I was to be seen every 3 weeks from here on out. I was like, "ummm, no bitch." Now I get to be seen every two weeks until 36 weeks, then every week after that.

QOTW: What do you have left to do to get ready for baby?- Everything. Our house is still empty thanks to the incompetence of the Military Transportation Office. Everything, minus a few dishes and my maternity clothes, is in storage in WA... still. Crib, stroller, car seat, all our furniture, baby clothes... everything. But I'm done bitching about it. There's nothing I can do when others don't want to do their job correctly.

33 weeks and the weird durian fruit!!

Celebrations: I had my shower yesterday, and it was awesome! Small, so I was comfortable and with my BFFs but so fun...no yucky games

we decorated onesies and bibs and I absolutely had a doctor-sanctioned GD cheat day. It was perfect.

Vents: I'm so tired of having to be a bitch to get DH to do stuff. Everything I want done, I hear "we can do it tomorrow" or next weekend, or whatever. He gets grumpy when I push to get it done now. Last night, I needed to get shower stuff sorted and put away (he sleeps in the nursery right now) and he wanted to put it off. I told him I'd do it myself, and he realized he made a mistake. I'm just tired of having to push to get anything done. To his credit, he HAS come through every time, just not without me getting bitchy.

I'm in to see my doc every other week now till 36 weeks.

QOTW: I need to get the rest of the stuff from my registries...and feel ready to be a mom. It's a little terrifying still. DH admitted yesterday that he's never even held a baby for any length of time really. I know he'll be an amazing dad, but it sort of is the tangible way for me to describe my nervousness....neither of us really knows what we're doing. And he described the only way to get over it: "best on the job training ever, I guess!" Which is why I love him, even when he's an occasional pain in the ass.

Happy Sunday everyone! 33 weeks today and I have no clue what a durian fruit is haha

Vent: heartburn is keeping me from getting much sleep.

Celebrations: We had a great shower yesterday! Lots of cute things, and some stuff we actually registered for.

I have an appointment at 34 weeks (a week from tomorrow) and then starting at 36 weeks I go every week!

QOTW: We got our dresser and assembled it yesterday, so we have all of little girl's furniture! We are going to get an organization system for the closet this week and install that. Then it's just organizing and finding a home for all of her little things. The only necessity we have left to get is her car seat, which MIL hinted at buying for us yesterday!

@kwh33ls‌ I had to guilt DH into mowing our jungle lawn after he let it grow two weeks after he said he'd mow. I told him that neighborhood watch was going to come and get him. Hehe.

Happy Sunday ladies! I'm 35 weeks and a coconut.

Celebrations: Today is mine and my husbands one year anniversary. We are keeping it low key. We are going to an early movie and then lunch. I bought him Mario Kart so maybe we can get some game time in.

Starting tomorrow my appointments are weekly.

I had both my work baby shower and my family baby shower this last week and I am overwhelmed by the generosity of my friends and family. I am now also overwhelmed by all the stuff I have to finish up before Gabrielle makes her appearance.

I love reading everyone's updates! Hope you all have a fabulous week.

Happy Sunday everyone! 36 weeks and a honeydew melon!

Any vents or celebrations from the past week? I have become terribly uncomfortable this week: back ache, hip pain, muscle fatigue (feels like I've done a big workout), and tired. Dr told me this week Adelinde has already moved down into my pelvis and he doesn't think she'll make it to her due date. I'm hoping for 39 weeks.

How many/how frequently are your appointments these days? Every week now.

Oh yeah...baby showers!
Have my last one today and really hope we get some of the things on our registry or I'm going to have a lot of shopping to do this week. We have more cute clothes than baby girl can possibly wear at this point.

QOTW: What do you have left to do to get ready for baby?
Install the car seat, assemble the stroller, hang a few more things on the walls. Oh and pack my hospital bag. That's about it! Here's a little AW of the wall decals I made and put up yesterday!

Thanks @toriisalemon‌! We wanted something gender neutral as we plan to use this room as a nursery more than the once! The blue in the decals are the same color as my mother's eyes. I can't think of anything more calming!

35 weeks - a cocoanut

Vents: DF won't let me do any housework and makes sure the apartment is clean before he goes to work. I know I should be thrilled that I don't have to ask him for help, but I get so bored with not having any cleaning to do.

Celebrations: I think we finally have a name for our LO. DF and I have had such crazy schedules for the past several months that we hadn't been able to sit down and really discuss what names we like.

After my appt on the 19, they'll go to once a week.

Since we're in a one bedroom apartment, I don't have much left to get together. DF surprised me with getting a bassinet and changing table which we just need to get put together and I bought the car seat and stroller the other day and I've been buying little things here and there for a few months now.

35/35, this little guy is the size of a coconut! My BH have gotten a lot stronger, and I'm generally uncomfortable, but still able to do things around the house. On a positive note, DS's bronchitis is clearing up and so is his eczema! It's been a longgg week. I have my next appt on Wednesday, then they switch to weekly. I just realized this morning that at 35 weeks my last pregnancy, DS was born exactly a month later at 39 weeks. It's starting to get real. Happy anniversary @kam3100 !!!

34 weeks and a butternut squash!!! Can't believe just 6 more weeks to go. I have a feeling it'll be the longest and shortest weeks of my life.

Vents/Celebrations: bending over is hard.

And it is getting harder to run around at work like I need to be able to. The BH definitely pick up during my work shifts.
Celebrations: I had a baby shower yesterday and oh this little girl is super showered! I still can't believe all the things we got for her -and she'll definitely never go naked! Lol

Appointments are still every 2 weeks right now, but will go to weekly once I hit 35 weeks.

QOTW: my main priority right now is getting the closet in the nursery organized. It is driving me bonkers! If love to have a professional closet system put in, but that's too pricy right now, so I'll have to get creative.

35 weeks - coconut. How a coconut is bigger than the pineapple a few weeks ago, I'm not sure, but whatever. LOL No big vents or celebrations this week. I'm starting to get both sad and excited that the end is near. I'm getting more uncomfortable, but I also know how fast these last weeks go by so I'm trying to savor them!

Happy Sunday, ladies!
How many weeks/what fruit, veggie, thing are you? Holy cow--36 weeks!?!?! Honeydew melon
Any vents or celebrations from the past week? Not a vent, really, but DH and DS are both sick so I'm just having to do a bit more, but DH still more than pulls his weight. Just feel bad that they're both sick. I guess I'd say my sciatica/back pain is getting worse/more frequent, so that's not so fun. Celebrations: we had a great time at DS's end-of-school-year potluck and yesterday went to a Summer Fest at one of the schools we're looking into for the fall, saw some friends, ate good food, etc. So, fun busy weekend.
How many/how frequently are your appointments these days? Twice a week. NSTs twice a week, OB visit once a week. I'll also get another ultrasound in a week and a half to check on baby's growth again.
Oh yeah...baby showers! AW your recent shower if you'd like. No shower this time around. No one offered, plus we pretty much have what we need.
QOTW: What do you have left to do to get ready for baby? Set up the co-sleeper, finish washing and putting away clothes and diapers, (basically organizing and finish decorating the boys' room altogether) some general cleaning and organizing, take the cover and everything off the infant seat and clean it, and purchase the odds and ends we need. Oh, and we want to make a bunch of freezer meals that can be thrown in the crock pot. Definitely should've made more food ahead of time last time, so we want to make it easier on ourselves this time around. Ideally we would have a yard sale before baby comes so we can clear some space out, but I don't think it's going to happen. Oh, well. I would also love to do some sewing, both for the baby and just for fun, but we'll see how motivated I am! Good thing I'm off work for the summer starting Tuesday!

It's super easy ladies to make your own fabric decals! I found silhouettes I liked on Google, printed them out the size I wanted on my printer, used that as a template to cut the fabric and then stuck it to the wall using spray starch (the laundry kind). I'm not satisfied with the sticking though (after it dried there were air bubbles) and might try a cornstarch mixture. 33 weeks and a durian fruit (what?!)!

Celebrations: at my OB appt this week it was confirmed that baby girl is head down!! I was worried she was breech because I kept feeling a round lump up by my ribs but it turns out that's just her baby butt

. I also finished the quilt I've been making for her!

Vents: there is just no more room. Every time I eat I feel like I need to lie down bc my stomach feels huge. Eating small meals helps a bit.

My next appt isn't until 35 weeks and then I think I go weekly after that.

QOTW: we haven't had our shower yet (it's on the 21st) so we still have to set up all of the stuff we get at the shower plus install the car seat. At least the nursery is finished!
