Does anyone know where I can find those little square blankets with silk around the edges? If prefer a store where I can go grab one instead of ordering online but I will if I need to.
Also, are there other recommendations for something a 1 month old can hold on to? We tried Sophie but its still too big for her and we have links but she keeps smacking herself with them.
Thanks!
Re: XP: lovey blankets??
What about soft rattles that go around wrists? Not sure what you are trying to accomplish (i.e. a cute photo, entertain LO, have a non-boob item for LO to attach to...)
If you (or a friend) crochet or knit, could make a small blanket from really soft yarn. Would be a little larger than a pot holder. A friend's mom did that for her daughter. Also a baby wash cloth is an option.

We have a winkle but I haven't tried that yet. It seemed too big. She just seems so eager to hold onto something. She'll hold our fingers and burp cloths, clothes, paci, etc when were holding her. She resorts to pulling her hair or crying when she's in her bouncer or playmat. I just wanted something thin and soft to occupy her hands.
Piece of advice - get 2 of the same kind so you can wash them or replace them if one gets dirty or lost.
We got a 2 pack of bunny loveys by Blankets & Beyond and at one point DD started chewing on the ears. They were getting NASTY and I had to wash them almost daily. If I didn't have a spare I would have been in trouble. I wanted to get another 2 pack of extras but discovered that our particular kind was no longer sold and I was devastated! A similar one would not cut it.
K got super attached to them around 8-9 months of age. Before then I just put them in the crib for company but she wasn't asking for them. She is over 2 now and these bunnies are her biggest loves in the world. She calls them Bubbas and always has to cuddle with them. I joke that she loves them more than me.
