Is labor near? Will be 39 weeks Wednesday

Hi ladies -

First off I will confirm that I did speak with my doctor and he said my symptoms are "ok" nothing dangerous is happening.

Yesterday - for the entire day I felt off. Very heavy feeling in my belly. Super sluggish. Crampy. By the time the evening came - after dinner it felt nauseous and uncomfortable. After urinating - I checked the paper and some light pink/red blood was there. I confirmed this 4 different times by wiping. It was not mixed with mucus but I have been a bit more dischargey the last few days. No contractions and no baby as of yet. Doc said it's a sign that my cervix might be thinning?? Anyone ever have this!? Just curious if I'll have my little bundle soon!!

    Well I am aware that I don't have another six months ahead (my induction is also already scheduled so there is a light at the end of the tunnel regardless) I guess what I am asking is if anyone has had similar symptoms or experiences

    I have, but honestly they don't mean much for your individual situation...

    I felt as you describe from 38 weeks onward. DS arrived at 41w2d.

    Happened to me but I had mucus with mine. I gave birth the following day.

    Pretty sure anyone who has every had a baby vaginally has had this, since it's a mandatory requirement for labour to start.
      Get on my level Snuff! I plan on teleporting my baby out!
