  I had a 5 day transfer with A. We put back two top grade blasts and ended up with one baby. I did two FET transfers of one blast each and got pregnant on the second transfer. So for me at least we had a fifty percent success rate for our blasts.

  TTC since June 2011
  DH diagnosed with Testicular Cancer 8/2010
  Low sperm count. Only option IVF with ICSI
  Starting First cycle Jan/Feb 2012- Canceled due to not responding to BCP and/or Lupron
  IVF 1.2- stims March 14, ER March 24, 16 R 10F 6 made it to blast
  ET March 29- transferred two blasts, 4A and 4BA, froze 4
  Positive HPT 9dp5dt Beta 1- 385 11dp5dt
  u/s April 25- one healthy heartbeat

  Edit: this was a fresh cycle.

  Can't figure out the signature thing, so here's the short, short version.....first daughter born on November 10, 2013. She was conceived through the magic of IVF after 2+ years of TTC.

  In a fresh cycle, I transferred 2 blasts (both great quality but I don't remember their scores) and I have a 7 week old singleton .

  Me 36/DH 46 Me: Low AMH (.21) DOR, mild endo; Started seeing RE 11/12
  Jan-March '13 3 IUIs Clomid + Trigger = BFN

  April '13 IVF 1 MDLF converted to 4th IUI due to 3 runaway follicles! BFN

  July/Aug '13 IVF 1.2 Long Lupron = 7R, 6F, 2T= BFP!!!

  Beta 1=512, Beta 2=1,368 Beta 3= 4,128

  It's a boy!!!!

  With my first full cycle, I did a 5 day transfer with a single embryo. It was the highest grade the lab gives, but it failed.
  
  With my second full cycle, we transferred two 5 day blasts with assisted hatching. One was somewhere between a "good" and "fair" and one was "fair." Both stuck and became our boys!
  
  Both were fresh cycles. We have a high egg count/fert rate, but our remaining 22 embryos tanked in quality on day 5 :-(. So, I am a BIG believer in quality over quantity!!

  TTC in 2009, Dx: Unexplained IF

  Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!
  12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!

  We transferred one blast and one morula which resulted in H. My lab doesn't give grades on the embryos but they told me the blast looked great.

  Transferred one 5 day blast of good quality . . . and quite shocked that resulted in 2 babies.

  Married 8/2008. IVF with PGD March 2013.
  3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5
  3/27 ET: transferred 1 embryo, beta 9dp5dt=163, 12dp5dt=639
  4/25 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks = identical twins with heartbeats?!!!

  PPROM at 31w, delivery at 32 weeks of two beautiful girls

  Another single transfer here. Also - I just read your fert report post. Let me tell you that I too was terrified about being pushed to a day 5, and my clinic never gave me an updated fert report after day 1 - they just called me on day 3, with the verdict. I totally get your fears -just try and trust in your RE, which in this case I know is difficult since its a new group. Totally rooting for you my fellow July sparkler (round 1)

  Day 5 transfer, two were transferred, both took but I lost one baby right after my 9 week appointment. Little man just turned one!

  We only had 2 that made it to transfer. The second one they said wouldn't make it to freeze so we transferred 2, which resulted in our beautiful DD.

  MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12

  ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

  We transferred two blasts on day 5 and that gave us our twins. I only had 6R (5M, 4 fertilized normally via ICSI) that cycle and we were shocked to be pushed to day 5 at all. If we'd had a greater number of embryos to work with, we most likely would have transferred only one. Surprisingly, we ended up with one frozen blast from that cycle as well. Good luck with your decision and your transfer!
