vitamin D drops- whats your brand?

My LO hates the D drops our ped recommended the enfamil D-vi-sol. She won't swallow them alone or in a bottle of breast milk. I tried them and they are nasty! What kind do you use or how do you get little one to take them? Asking the ped for her ideas Monday but curious what you ladies use. Thanks!

Sorry if this is a repeat I'm mobile

  • Carlson. They only need one drop.

  • Baby D Drops. Got them on amazon. So far so good. Its one drop like the pp.

  • We were using the Enfamil, but the pedi thinks that was causing LO's projectile vomiting at bedtime, so he took us off of Vit D for a couple of weeks to see and said for us to get some good ole FL Sunshine.
  • Baby D drops as well. When I took him for his 1 week doctor visit the nurse kindly gave me 2 bottles of samples so that made the choice easy :).

  • Thanks everyone, one drop sounds so much easier than a whole ml.
  • My son inhales the Enfamil D-Vi-Sol drops! Lol he will pretty much eat anything you put in front of him though.

Baby D Drops for us, she does great with them. One drop a day, easy as pie.

  • Our doctor specifically said NOT to give our LO vitamin D drops. I just have to take vit D supplements in addition to my regular vitamins since LO is EBF. She (the doctor) said the drops can be very unsettling for little tummies but with my extra intake of vitamins, my breastmilk supplies enough for LO.

  • @WifeofaComposer‌ that's interesting...I take plenty of calcium/vitamin D. I drink milk twice a day and take a supplement so sounds like I should be getting her enough through breast milk. Ugh but I guess I will still listen to the ped. I ordered the one drop vitamin D so hopefully that will work. But I do think I will ask her at my next appt about the necessity since I get enough myself. Thanks again everyone for the input!
