@Justone13 before you switch to salt water do lots of research. Salt water still has chlorine it just has a reactor that converts the water to chlorine so you really aren't doing without chlorine. Also it's very corrosive and if you have any water feature the running water will raise your ph causing other problems. We put in a pool 2 years ago and not one installer recommended salt water anymore because of how corrosive it is. I even have friends now switching back to chlorine from salt water because they are getting tired of replacing their rusted patio furniture and replacing the salt water system parts. I use the BBB (bleach, baking soda and borax) method in my pool and I've never had a problem. All I have to do is add a gallon of bleach every other day in the hot summer months and my water stays perfect. I don't have to add any harsh shock it and my ph has been perfect since I switched to that method so I'm never adding chemicals and I always get compliments on how crystal clear my pool looks. I highly recommend it!
@jaztaz1 you know you are always welcome!!
