We did it!
Made it to a year of BFing, despite some enormous hurdles that I wasn't sure we'd get over. DD went from being 5lbs and 17.5" long to 20.5lbs and 30" long, all in the span of one crazy year. I'm so glad we've made it this far, and although I won't be sad to hang up the pump next week, I'm so glad we'll get to breastfeed as long as we want.
I don't think I'd be here without the guidance and support I got from this board when I was faced with a jaundiced preemie, late-to-arrive milk, and an eye dropper full of (necessary, but hard-to-accept) formula.
So, thank you, and cheers! To another year!
