The period is back ugh!

I woke up this morning to a wonderful surprise from mother nature. I definitely did not miss this for the last ten months. How many others are already remembering that we still have these?

    SS. I don't really know. I thought so, but it's more like spotting than consistent bleeding.

    Bleeding came back heavy at 5 weeks, FNP said she was 100% sure it was aunt flow. FML. Aunt flow returned at 6months pp last time, I had been hoping it would stay away longer with tandem nursing.

    I put SS as well. Moderate bleeding (no clots) at 5.5 weeks PP, happened they DAY after my lochia ended. Waiting to see if a repeat performance happens this month.

    Like two days after I stopped pumping it came back with a vengeance, though the parsley and sage tea I was drinking to dry up my supply likely played a role in that too.

    lochia is scientifically accurate, but i can't help but get all squirmy and "ew" when i see it typed out  :)

    last time my period returned around 9 or 10 months.  i hope it stays away a long time again.

    Got mine yesterday morning right before my 6 week check up (I'm actually 7 weeks pp)! Grossed out that they still had me go in and get a pap, but glad I was able to get Mirena inserted! Woo hoo!

    I'm seriously jealous of the 173 that voted no. I just started my birth control yesterday so hopefully mother nature doesn't come with vengeance. I like my BC periods they are only a couple days vs a week of hell!

    Only went bleeding free for 2 days, started at almost 6 wks PP, had an ultrasound to confirm no retained placenta so pretty sure it's a period. Happened last time too, but my pp bleeding stopped sooner so I had a longer reprieve. FML...

    I got mine when I was 4 weeks pp. went into midwife bc I thought it was my stitches bleeding... Nope, it was a period. The best part? It lasted for 4 weeks! I'm exclusively breast feeding, so I thought I would have more time before it came back. My mom said she got her period back right away too... Damn genetics!
