An intro and a thought

Good day ladies!

Let me start of by saying I realise that this isn't the board for me, but please bear with me!

I am 29 years old. Me and DH decided to start ttgp in March. I went for a check-up to make sure everything is fine, and found out I had four large fibroids. My gynae suggested they be removed, as their size and location could cause problems. Right now I have to wait until August before we can actively start ttgp. I'm using this time to get myself to optimal health. I do realise that I cannot be classified as tttc at all, but I just wanted to do a quick scan through the board to see if anybody had similar issues and how it affected them.

Reading through all that many of you have been through to in the hopes of becoming pregnant, breaks my heart! And makes me realise that to fall pregnant without issues makes a person truly blessed. I will not complain about having to wait another two months again!

I have the utmost respect for all of you ladies, and sincerely wish that you can one day hold your miracle baby in your arms!

And if perhaps I offended anybody with this post, I am truly sorry!

Thanks. Even if you aren't 3T, if you have questions regarding the process for a myomectomy (fibroid removal) feel free to reach out. Many of us here have different experiences, but I know a few of us (myself included) have had the procedure and can give some insight on what to expect.

Thanks! I had my abdominal myomectomy on 8 May. I am recovering nicely. I do have this (probably irrational) fear of developing scar tissue/adhesions that could complicate future pregnancies. I am avoiding doing any heavy lifting or exercise. Just walking at this stage, it helps for the mental health :P.
