tips for getting distracted baby to eat

So we are out of town for my husband's grandma's funeral and kiddo if distracted with all the new stuff and people. She is not sleeping well and not eating well. I feel bad. Any tips to help us out with these problems would be much appreciated!

    Sorry for your loss. L is easily distracted when there are people around. If he is not eating I usually try to encourage people not to interact with him too much at meal time (sometimes easier said than done). He does much better when we just let him do his thing while we eat as well. Sleeping is a tough one because it is an unfamiliar environment. Did you bring anything from home, sounds, blankets, loveies?? I find that bringing his turtle that we use at home helps a lot when we are out of town. But, he is a terrible sleeper regardless of where we are.
