Hello! My name is Sarah and i just found out im pregnant with my third child. I have. 4 year old daughter and i lost my son at 31 weeks pregnant. He had trisomy 18/Edwards syndrome. I'm 3 or 7 weeks (i had a very short period last month. I tested positive on 6/4 but my period isnt due til 6/11 and ive had symptoms for about a week) I'm terrified of another loss. I'm trying my best to not stress about it buy today the anxiety is winning.

I am so sorry for your loss. Congrats to you on your pregnancy. Being PGAL is very hard. We also lost a baby to a trisomy later in pregnancy and the fear of it happening again can be really overwhelming. Remind yourself that this pregnancy is different and just because it ended so sadly before doesn't mean that it will again. I found that getting the genetic testing done around ten weeks (we had the Panorama test done but now there are lots of them and you would most likely get insurance to help because of family history like us) helped for some peace of mind. We also opted for the NT scan just to get a better look at our son this pregnancy and to ease some anxiety. The days leading up to the results of course were difficult but it did help us to take it a day at a time.

Please know that you aren't alone. I found that giving ourselves small milestones to reach instead of thinking of the pregnancy in it's entirety has been helping too. Congrats again!
