QOTD. There is. Little island and house in middle of Lake Tahoe (my fav place on earth) i think having a Wedding on that island would be awesome! The photos with the mountains and lake alone would be breathtaking!

AFM- I am finally going in for ER tomorrow. Yesterday I had 48 measurable follies, with 20 over 16mm. E2 was 4900 (dropped from 6600 day before with a little help from cetrotide). We will definitely be freezing. I'm excited, nervous, a little scared and trying to mentally prep myself for not feeling great the next few days.
Fingers crossed for you lovelies that are PUPO and thinking of you all!
It's my 30th birthday today!! And to celebrate I'm working the evening shift. Lol!! Partied enough last weekend to last me through the 30's lol! If you all didn't see I went in for monitoring yesterday and the nurse thought id be delayed due to my lining being too thick and not getting AF. But then my RE called and said we are starting sooo last night I started my stims. Using Gonal f and menopur. Back on Sunday for recheck.
QOTD: We had a very small wedding. Only about 25 people. If I could do it anywhere I would pick Scotland. I was there a few years ago and it is breathtaking.

I never had a problem with the PIO shots hurting last cycle but holy hell I was up all night with pain in my left injection site down the leg. Just awful. I cried for hours and was swearing on why I wanted kids lol. Otherwise feeling ok from transfer.
Hmm I would love to get married in the mountains at some cool looking lodge! My skin can't handle the sun otherwise it would be at a beach

Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

I feel better after venting yesterday. I'm working on getting my positive attitude back. My bloodwork yesterday was good, according to my nurse, and I've started the Cetrotide, so we are heading towards ER, but I'm not sure of the timing, although my RE said I should plan to stim through Sunday; I don't know if that means I should expect to trigger Sunday night or not, but I only have enough meds through Sunday night, so I'm hoping I won't have to order more (I just calculated it and I've spent about $6,400 on meds this cycle, so far!!!) I go back tomorrow morning, so I should know more then.

Hi everyone, do you mind if I join you?
We are doing our first IVF with ICSI cycle and I am finishing up my last week of BCP bills. I was hoping to be a June Bug but I didn't want to jinx it, but I just got my insurance approval and everything been going smoothly so far!
My DH went yesterday to do frozen sperm for a backup, but apparently they didn't think his sample would survive the thaw, so we will just do fresh. He is currently on antibiotics to help get some motility, hopefully.
QOTD: I would have loved to have a big tented wedding on the ocean with beautiful water and mountain/hilly views.... so maybe some place in Europe!

AFM, looks like I'm in the home stretch. I have no idea how many eggs they're going to get at this point, as Wednesday's count was ~30, and today's count was ~17, which is confusing. I'm sure the difference is in the small ones, but STILL! I'm relatively happy with either number--you can see in my siggie that stims have gone badly for me in the past, so at this point it's really hats off to the new fancypants RE. Retrieval likely Monday or Tuesday.
QOTD: We got married on an ocean-facing bluff on Cape Cod (OH has family connections) on a spectacular early autumn day with a technicolor sunset, so I really think I shouldn't be complaining about venues. :-) But if money and logistics were no barrier, I would have chosen somewhere amazingly exotic and beautiful. No idea where, but that NZ glacier sounds pretty good! So do all those Hawaiian beaches and private islands! Hmmmm....decisions.... :-/

AFM: Everything is going very well with this new protocol and tonight will be day 10 of stimms. I went this am for b/w and u/s and have to go back tomorrow. At this point I've got about 10 follicles "in range" and they are all pretty close in size. My RE is amazed that at my age I produce so well. I can't complain however, time will tell if the quality is there for those eggies. I'm pretty confident that I'll be triggered tomorrow night with retrieval on Monday.
QOTD: We got married on the water in a typical New England coastal town. The weather was spectaular and the view beautiful. I don't think I'd change it for anything.

Had my ER today and they got 12 eggs! A dozen! I'm beyond thrilled. Since our last cycle ended right after retrieval when we were told that zero eggs fertilized despite ICSI, we are waiting with everything crossed to hear the fert report tomorrow.
QOTD: I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding. But if I had it to do over again today, I'd have a small ceremony with us and a few friends/our parents and we'd fly everyone to the Maldives.

Yes, they're hoping it will pass with my next cycle. I gave myself 2ml of PIO on Wednesday, and AF should arrive within a week or two. At this point, I don't think I'll be able to do another transfer prep until September

@pjpahel yay for cycle buddies!! After monitoring today they are leaning towards Wed, since I have a good number of follies but they need a little more time to mature. I did finally get to decrease my menopur since my estrogen made a nice healthy jump. I'm trying to stay positive, and not get bogged down with worries and what ifs!!

AFM, Still nervously waiting for AF, holding my breath with every swipe of the toilet paper! I have a lot of anxiety over this cycle, which has not been good for my health. I've also been very weepy and sad, which is not normal for me. Maybe the Estrace is responsible for this? I hope so. My DH just said to me this morning that he can't wait to have "me" back.

I was totally happy with where we got married, so I wouldn't change that for anything. I wish it lasted longer and wish more of our friends could have been there, but that's about it!

First RE visit: 8/8/12, Saline Sonogram: 8/28/12, IVF injection class: 10/11/12, add FaBB Tab for FVL, +Vitamin D.
IVF #1: 10/17/12 Baseline: FSH- 9.4, E2- 24, LH- 3.7, Prog- 0.3 The u/s showed 6 follicles in my right & 9 in my left. Rx: 150 Bravelle & 150 Menopur SQ nightly. 10/21/12: Add Ganirelix SQ every morning.
ER 10/28/12: 13 Retreived. 7 Mature. 6 Fertilized. 5 Made it to PGS. ET 11/2/12: CANCELED. All 5 came back from PGS as having "severe abnormalities."
IVF #2: 1/7/13 Baseline: FSH- 8.8, 4 follicles in my right & 6 in my left. Rx: 150 Bravelle & 150 Menopur SQ nightly. 1/11/13: Add Ganirelix SQ every morning. hCG Trigger 1/16/13

IVF #4: (Added acupuncture to this cycle.) 3/25/13 WTF & Baseline: FSH-11.8, E2- 56, Prog- 0.84 3/26/13 Start stims. 3/30/13 u/s: 5 follicles in my right & 4 in my left. Rx: 225 Bravelle& 225 Menopur SQ in PM. 3/31/13 Add Ganirelix SQ in AM.hCG Trigger 4/3/13 SQ.
ER 4/5/13: 5R, 3M, 3F naturally. Day 3: two 8 cell, grade 0, one 8 cell, grade 2 (Scale 0-best to 3-worst). Five day ET 4/10/13: two blastocysts (the 3rd stopped growing.) Beta 4/18/13: 2.5 BFFN. RE recommends we stop trying and focus on living childless, due to the extremely poor quality of my eggs.
***Decided to stop trying and live CFNBC. I couldn't adjust. So, six months later...
IVF #5: Changed RE. Going to one of the big name clinics now. OWDU: 10/29/13. Update: HORRIBLE experience. Disgusted and distraught at their complete unprofessionalism and how much money and precious time they cost us. Sickening. Have now changed RE again. New Patient appt. 1/30/14.
BFP! Out of nowhere, I got KU the old fashioned way! POAS 1/26/14 - Positive! FDLM 12/30/13. Beta #1 16dpo= 373. Beta #2 18dpo= 801. EDD 10/6/14
2/4/14 1st U/S revealed a 5wk2day sac but no fetal pole. Started 200mgs of progesterone suppositories daily
2/11/14 2nd U/S revealed a perfect 6wk1day "diamond ring" embryo with a beating heart! 138bpm! Add 1mg folic acid and 40mg Lovenox
2/25/14 3rd U/S: perfect 8w1d embryo, 178bpm. 3/6 start spotting. 3/11 10w1d U/S shows no heartbeat. Scheduling D&C. The Stork has forsaken me again.
IVF #5.2: New in-state RE. Supplement priming for 1.5 cycles prior to start of cycle, including DHEA 50mg (stopped 5/15), CoQ10 200mg 2x/day, L-Arginine- 1000mg 2x/day (stopped 6/5 due to cold sore!), myo-inositol- 2g 2x/day, melatonin- 3mg, and Neevo (prenatal for MTHFR).

Start stims: 375IU Follistim & 150IU Menopur. 6/19 Increase Follistim to 425IU, Menopur still 150IU. 6/18 add Ganirelix. 6/23 Ovidrel trigger SQ. 6/25 ER: 8R, 8M, 5F naturally. Start Medrol & Doxy. 6/26 Start Endometrin. 7/2 Start Lovenox.
7/8/14 Beta= 137.4 BFP!!! (My first from IVF!) E2- 1109, Prog- >60. Stop CoQ10, myo-inositol, and melatonin. 7/9 2nd Beta= 281.4. TSH- 2.70. Increasing Synthroid to 100mcg daily. 7/24 6w3d u/s measured 6w3d, hb: 121bmp! 8/5 8w1d u/s measured 8w3d, hb: 164bpm! Graduated from RE to OB. Now I just need to find an OB!

@pjpahel and @Mozzarella13, I should be triggering tonight for ER on Wednesday, too!
Based on my monitoring from yesterday and this morning, It looks like I'll only have five "mature" follicles for ER, which is disappointing, but there isn't anything I can do at this point except hope and pray we get some great embryos out of them.
I got bumped up to 450 of Gonal-F and 225 of Menopur and I'm so ready to be done with the meds!!! I feel pretty awful all over.
