makeup/skin products help!

I know this had been posted before but I wasn't paying attention then. I'm in need of new skincare and foundation. I have very oily acne prone skin so I need something that's helpful for occasional breakouts. Right now I'm using mineral powder foundation and like it so far. What's your favorite band of mineral powder? Also, I get so confused with moisturizers/cc creams/bb creams/primer etc. That's a lot of stuff! What's the correct order? What's totally necessary? I'm pretty clueless.

Do you have a favorite day and night cream? Eye cream?

    I typically only wear mascara like twice a week now, lol. I love my bare minerals makeup, though.

    Any one else enjoy a little kiss from the sun in the summer? It's like makeup isn't even necessary B-)

    I would find a good primer which you put on after moisturizer and before the mineral/powder foundation. I've been a MAC girl forever and I love their primers and mineral powder foundation. It's not a loose powder and doesn't have really thick coverage, but it's nice for a lighter look and feel.

    I also really love Arbonne's primer.

    It honestly depends on what you're looking for.

    It's a little more expensive but I have used Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in the past, and I just got another sample size (along with her primer and face exfoliator scrub) and I am loving it again (may need to invest in the full size products soon). The big tube lasted me for about a year though, when I was using it regularly! I also use bare minerals powder and that works well. I love philosophy products too--Hope in a Jar (moisturizer), and I've used some of their other products like eye/lip firmer, and this oxygen mask that helps get rid of redness.

    BB cream from Garnier
    They also make an awesome moisturizer for day.

    I don't really do powder as often. When I do it's Corn Silk by itself.

    I also have oily and acne prone skin. I've been using Clean and Clear moisturizer forever and I love it. I use it daily under makeup. And then I use Sonia Kashuk tinted moisturizer. The coverage is really nice and light, and it blends like a dream. I then use Lorac powder to set the tinted moisturizer. I also like Bare Minerals, but use Lorac daily.

    As for order of application, it's usually moisturizer, primer, foundation/tinted moisturizer/BB cream, then powder for setting. Tinted moisturizer or BBC are a lot of times used in place of moisturizer. Not all are necessary. It's really up to you on what kind of coverage you're looking for. For me, I skip the primer for daily wear. I only use primer for when I'm in weddings or when I used to go out dancing. It keeps the makeup from melting or smudging off my face.

    You could also check out YouTube for makeup tutorials. A lot of them explain the process and what products you can use. I waste so much time watching makeup gurus do tutorials.
