Trouble TTC

Plan finally!

Finally got our consult. Dr called my eggs beautiful which made me happy. Looks like since everything with me is clear the official dx is MFI. Dr recommends IUI with Femera instead of Clomid since my lining was so thin during the test. I left today with a script for Ovidrel and Letrozole. We decided to plan for IUI in July so I'll be totally done with school and can do all the monitoring.
I'm so relieved that he was saying everything that I've been reading about and that we came to the same conclusions. It makes me feel less crazy and also glad that he didn't recommend IVF which is something I just don't know how we could afford.

My only question now is where can I get these meds for cheap? Do you ladies know off some places?

  • I've never taken Femera, but it definitely pays to call around. Prices vary a lot pharmacy to pharmacy and different pharmacies have better prices on different things, so the cheapest route isn't necessarily getting them all at the same place.

I just got Ovidrel for $80 (+$8 shipping) from Braun Pharmacy! The place I bought it from before was $120.

That sounds like a great plan. Because Femara is not labled as a fertility drug. My insurance covered it I think I paid $5. I don't have experience with a trigger yet.
