My pedi recommended we give her a probiotic daily because of GI issues and stuff. I've given it probably 3 times and it seems to make her more gassy and uncomfortable, Anyone have any experience?
My pediatrician recommended culturelle kids 1/2 a packet to one ounce of formula and it is helping him a lot ahe said sometimes it take a few weeks to really start helping. It's 18 dollars for a box and it a 2 month supply since you only use half the packet a day
i've given her a few doses of a probiotic powder. i had to express an ounce of milk and mix it with the powder, though, so it was kind of a pain. i don't think i'd do it every day even though it's good for her. i did it a few times when she was on nystatin for oral thrush. once she starts eating solids in 4 months, i'll add it daily to her veggies.
I've been giving her a whole packet of the Culterelle. Maybe that's just too much? I ordered 2 boxes of it from Amazon so I don't really want to waste it, but if it's causing more distress I don't want to give it to her. Plus, she doesn't get a bottle every day so I'd have to pump some just to give this to her.
