My only insight, per my RE, is that using frozen (from a bank) will be cheaper. And I understand that there will be a better selection - may have better chance of getting a donor who is similar to you - if that's of a concern...

I am currently pg with twins from frozen eggs. This is after 2 failures with fresh donor eggs at another clinic. It really depends on where you go. As PP poster, frozen eggs are HARD to master and most clinics cannot do it well at this point in time. But there are some great clinics for it. I went to RBA who developed frozen eggs. IMO, they are the best. With fresh, it still depends on where you go. All clinics are not the same. I went to a terrible clinic for fresh the first 2 times and had an awful, experience. Fresh DE clinics report to SART but frozen eggs do not. So it is harder to get info on who does frozen well. If looking for a fresh clinic, look for a clinic with a lot of cycles and at least a 60% live birth rate. National stats are only around 50 which means half the people are still getting negatives. It took 4 tries with donor eggs for me. Not an easy ride at all.

If going frozen I would go with RBA. We did fresh and with with an agency. It was way more expensive but we wanted the chance of siblings with the same genetics and we wanted to do pgd/pgs testing to make sure they were all chromosonally normal. You might check into pved.org for further research on donor eggs.

I'll also add that a frozen cycle happens much faster than a fresh cycle. Once you've had your own testing and chosen your eggs, you just go. With fresh you have to wait for your donor to be tested and approved then get your cycles synched before you can transfer. And If your donor is on BCP you have to wait for her to go off those and get a natural period before any of her testing can even be done (this is where we're stuck waiting, right now.) There is also a risk of your donor not doing things right or,even backing out, although most places require their donors to go through psychological screening to ensure they are really committed to the process. I can see how there is a definite peace of mind that comes with frozen.
Yes, I needed peace of mind of frozen after a bad fresh experience where the donor bailed out mid-stim..She wasn't even a first time donor and knew what she was getting into. So that stuff does happen. Fresh donors can also come back with STD positives right before cycling and the the cycle is cancelled. I've seen that a few times on these boards....

Yep on the STD positives. Had to cancel my cycle and look for another donor after being on the donor egg waiting list for 12 months. You have been given great advice from these lovely ladies! Good luck in your decision
