We are skipping Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts this year. Instead we bought ourselves new iPhones to replace our crappy old ones that have needed to be replaced for a long time. We both got iPhone cases from Shutterfly with photo collages on them :-)

We're trying to make Mother's and Father's Day about spending time together, and not about gifts or stuff. So we'll probably do a special outing and dinner that day as a family.

I do HIGHLY recommend the Shutterfly iPhone cases though, if you're stuck on a gift. They look great and came REALLY quickly.

I got him a fitbit. I've tried to give him cutesy gifts with baby pics on them, keepsakes and whatnot, but he doesn't care and doesn't appreciate them (or even use them). I would LOVE the kinds of gifts that I give him!

I think I'm gonna get a personalized mini baseball bat with LO's name, birth weight, etc. since we are big baseball fans. It'll fit right in with his baseball collection in the office.

I bought my husband a little baseball mitt that will be our son's first mitt. For when he's big enough that DH can teach him to play catch! It's something my husband has mentioned being excited for multiple times so I hope he likes it!

I brought dd1 (3) to a painting pottery place. She painted a platter with bowl in the middle and then we put dd2 footprints on it. We then will go to the local market and buy dhs favourite guacamole for the bowl and homemade chips for the platter and have a family game day. I was also going to get his favourite beer from a local brewery.

I would like to paint/stamp DDs hand on a coffee mug for him to take to work, but she still keeps her hands pretty tight, not sure if it will work. I'm also on the hunt for his favorite kids book since he reads to her at bed time every night. I'd like to do the pics with the letters too. Thankfully my mom will be here this week to help me with this stuff.

Got a cute daddy onesie and took pics to put on a mug from shutterfly. Also he was washing the car the other day and mentioned he didn't have any car washing supplies, so I made a kit from Amazon purchases to give him. Will probably make breakfast and stuff as well.
