Metatarsus adductus...anyone?

Nate's feet are kind if kidney bean shaped and turn in. The pedi yesterday said this is metatarsus adductus. She told us that it usually corrects itself, but I didn't really ask any questions because my brain was too slow and of course I didn't have any until I got home.

Anyone have any experience with this? When does it usually correct itself? Is there a point I should be worried if it doesn't?

(I kind of feel like this is going to be on one of those cricket moments...)

  • The dr mentioned the whole flexible thing to us too and that its not a big deal as long as to can physically manipulate them. Plus, if you tickle his foot he straightens out so we know he can.

  • No advice but I can empathize on the slow brain. I never remember to ask the questions I want to with the doctor, my principal, anyone important...
