I've always been somewhat of an anxious person, but lately it has gotten out of control. I had a sinus infection a few months back and started having daily headaches. They seemed to be getting worse and not going away after taking medicine. I convinced myself I had a brain tumor, aneurysm or some other serious condition. The doctor did a CT which of course came back clear only showing sinus issues. Since then I have still been having headaches and the doctor thinks it's tension and chronic sinus issues. To add to that I have been having a weird tight feeling in my ankle and panic attacks.
I just started taking Sertraline (generic Zoloft) and the past few nights I have woken up with burning pain down one arm or the other from my armpit to my fingers. Of course now I have convinced myself I have something else wrong with me. I have only been taking the meds for 3 days, but today I feel super anxious and jittery. Anyone else have experience with anxiety and taken medicine with similar reactions? If you don't feel comfortable posting here, please PM me.

Re: Anxiety Sufferers
-feeling like there's a lump in my throat
-TMJ issues
-crazy headaches
-joint pain
-random heart arrhythmia
I've had spinal tap, holter monitoring, tested for rheumatoid arthritis, etc and everything comes back totally normal.
When I was having the TMJ episode, the neurologist gave me Xanax and poof! Symptoms instantly improved. I didn't take it long, because TTGP, but once I'm done BFing and if I'm still having some strange physical manifestations, then I'm going to think about asking to be put back on it.
I try not to freak out when something new crops up (the joint pain is a new one for me). By now, I pretty much credit everything odd to stress so long as it's not debilitating or accompanied by other symptoms.
